Lawrence Erik Kurzius

Lawrence Kurzius is the President and Chief Operating Officer for McCormick. he has responsibility for businesses worldwide. Kurzius continues to lead Global Quality, Supply Chain and R&D Corporate functions and acts as President Global Consumer and President North America, and is a member of McCormick's Management Committee. Kurzius joined McCormick in 2003 through the acquisition of Zatarain’s, where he was President and CEO. In 2005, he became Vice President and General Manager of Sales and Marketing for McCormick’s U.S. Consumer. He was promoted to President U.S. Consumer Foods in 2005 and, in 2007, became McCormick’s President Europe, Middle East and Africa. In 2008, he was named President International businesses. He was named President Global Consumer and CAO in 2013 and in 2014 was named President Americas and China and Chief Administrative Officer and assumed his current responsibilities in 2015. Prior to McCormick, Kurzius spent 12 years at Zatarain’s and was a marketing executive with the Quaker Oats Company and Mars Inc.’s Uncle Ben’s Company. Kurzius graduated from Princeton University, in Economics, and is a former director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s New Orleans Branch. He is a trustee of Jacksonville University.
