We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to enable highly optimized mapping of AI workloads to Qualcomm's next generation system-technology solutions for the slowing Moore's law era. The focus is on identifying the system and technology bottlenecks for the state-of-the-art and emerging AI workloads e.g. the mixture-of-experts (MoE), multi-tenant vector databases, multimodal physical AI etc.. The E2E system KPIs for mapping these emerging AI workloads include the power, performance and TCO of the entire system encompassing the SoC, memory and networking.
The primary role of the candidate is to map the workloads using both internal and external tools to Qualcomm's next-gen AI accelerator systems and carry out what-if scenarios of optimizing different underlying components e.g. SoC, memory, networking and other technology features for the best power-performance-TCO trade-off. The candidate also needs to ensure which AI workloads are relevant for the different business units (BUs) from datacenters to physical AI to computing devices.
To drive these technologies the person will collaborate with high-level representatives across functional teams (e.g. Architecture, product management, SW teams) to enable an implementation strategy that meets system requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of E2E system KPI dependency e.g. power, performance and TCO of emerging AI workloads mixture-of-experts (MoE), multi-tenant vector databases, multimodal physical AI.
Ability to quickly map newer workloads onto Qualcomm systems using internal and external tools so high proficiency in scripting (python or similar) is required.
Great knowledge of state-of-art workloads across multiple BUs.
Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Exceptional creativity to innovate new ideas and develop innovative products/ processes without established objectives or known parameters.
Verbal and written communication skills to convey highly complex and/or detailed information. Will require strong negotiation and influence with large groups or high-level constituents
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Most tasks do not have defined steps; simultaneous use of multiple mental abilities is generally required to determine the best approach

Position Summary:
Airbus U.S. is looking for an experienced Satellite Test Engineer to support the functional verification and validation activity for LEO constellation project. We're looking for candidates who can bring exceptional engineering skills and strong experience in aerospace programs to the team.
Position Responsibilities:
The contract Senior Test Engineer's primary responsibility will be to support Airbus U.S.'s satellite functional verification and validation activity. In this role, the engineer will map technical requirements to verification and validation strategies that ensure product quality, develop test plans and test procedures, and execute and report the test results. Being at the cutting edge of space technology, we need someone who is eager to learn, grow, and take on new and potentially unfamiliar challenges. There is no shortage of fascinating problems to solve.
Satellite Functional Verification and Validation - 100%
Review the satellite functional specification and develop the test plan to verify and validate the requirements
Design and build automated testing systems, tooling and/or ground support equipment (GSE) to optimize production and test workflow
Execute and validate test documentation and equipment, then train others to run validated procedures/equipment
Troubleshoot issues with hardware and/or equipment, collect and analyze test data, and write/review test reports, flags/non-conformances and other documentation, as required
Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of engineering and integration activities
Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technical, Engineering, Math) or related scientific areas.
Preferred: Master's in STEM (Science, Technical, Engineering, Math) or related scientific areas.
Experience:
5+ years' experience in satellite operation and SEIT (SystemEngineering, Integration and Testing) on spacecraft
Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
Familiar with satellite operation, and any subsystem engineering (Guidance, Navigation, Control, Power system, Data Handling, and Software)
Familiar with product and quality assurance principles and experienced in generation and disposition of test flags and non-conformance documentation
Experience with object-oriented programming (C, C++) and scripting languages (TCL, Python)
Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation (e.g., electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, CAD models, wire lists)
Travel Required:
Periodic travel (less than 20%) to Airbus U.S. facilities or partner companies

Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate on-premises infrastructure with cloud services, including identity federation and security.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, operational procedures, and technical guides.
Provide on-site technical support, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and minimizing downtime.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution for virtualized and Windows environments.
Stay current with emerging technologies in Windows, VMware, and cloud platforms to recommend improvements.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
Strong expertise in VMware virtualization technologies including vSphere, ESXi hosts, and vCenter Server management.
In-depth knowledge of Active Directory design, group policy management, DNS, DHCP, and replication.
Experience with Windows Server versions 2012, 2016, 2019, or newer.
Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms, including compute, storage, and identity services.
Ability to support hybrid cloud environments and integrate on-premises infrastructure with cloud services.
Solid understanding of virtualization best practices, resource allocation, and performance tuning.
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, VMware, and cloud environments.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with customer teams on-site.
Willingness to work from the customer's location as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
Experience with automation and scripting tools like PowerShell, VMware PowerCLI, or cloud automation frameworks.
Knowledge of security frameworks, compliance, and governance in virtualized and cloud environments.
