1907

The company’s website said the company was founded as the Mississippi Sand Company in Alton in 1907.

1965

Ken Steinhoff, Cape Girardeau Central High School Class of 1965, spent half a century in the ink-slinging business for papers in Missouri, Ohio, North Carolina, and Florida.

2003

In July, 2003 Mississippi Lime purchased substantially all of the assets of Falco Lime, Inc. of Vicksburg, Mississippi.

2008

Mississippi Lime acquired Gallatin Materials in the Cincinnati area in 2008, now the Company’s Verona operation.
