About the Job
The Business Analyst (BA) is a key member of the IT Applications team, responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Each BA is aligned to a specific business domain and serves as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders within that area. The role combines business process understanding, application expertise, and collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions.
* Stakeholder Engagement and Requirements Gathering: Serve as the primary point of contact between IT and business stakeholders for assigned domains. Facilitate discussions to understand business needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement. Document and validate business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows. Collaborate with the Lead Business Analyst to ensure alignment with broader IT strategy and standards.
* Application Expertise and Support: Act as the application expert for systems within the assigned business domain. Provide guidance on system capabilities, limitations, and best practices. Support business users in leveraging applications effectively and identifying opportunities for optimization.
* Intake and Backlog Management: Complete the intake process for new business requests. * Third-Party and Vendor Collaboration: Work with managed service providers (MSPs) and third-party vendors as needed for application support, enhancements, and implementations. Ensure vendor activities align with business needs and IT standards.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Lead Business Analyst, Business Relationship Manager (BRM), and IT Application Manager to ensure strategic alignment. Collaborate with the Data Strategy Manager on reporting and analytics needs. Work closely with the Enterprise Systems Development team to support technical requirements, integrations, and system-level testing.

Required Qualifications
* Experience: Experience in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and application support.
* Skills: Strong understanding of business processes within assigned domain(s). Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, EAM, WFM) and cloud technologies.

The Safety Specialist is responsible for the execution of MLC safety systems and culture for Ste. Genevieve operations.
