Pros of working at Mississippi Public Broadcasting

The rare moments that I am allowed to be creative.

Cons of working at Mississippi Public Broadcasting

Lack of respect and professionalism. Historically bad management since the 90's. Abusive, untalented and micro-managing Supervisor-who has been repeatedly reported and successfully sued for discrimination and yet keeps her job for years. The level of apathy and incompetence is obvious to diligent people with talent and experience. I come in early to do the jobs of others that are not being done and directly affect the daily requirements for my position, just to be able to execute my job on a daily basis.

Mississippi Public Broadcasting benefits

The money was less than promised, but I enjoy meeting and interviewing people outside the agency. I care about Mississippi and wanted to bring my talent home.
