The attorney's primary practice will be tort defense, Section 1983 claims, class actions, and claims requesting declaratory and injunctive relief. Attorneys in the Litigation Section handle cases from inception through disposition in both state and federal courts.
This position may involve intermittent travel within Missouri for meetings or court appearances.
Preferred experience/skills:
Experience or interest in civil defense litigation
State and Federal court experience
Knowledge of state and federal court rules
Excellent legal writing, oral advocacy, appellate, and litigation strategy skills
Jury trial experience preferred, but not required

Class members start with other newly-barred attorneys in August following graduation and receive specialized training and individualized mentorship.
