I joined the City of Springfield as the Information Systems Director in August, 2007. The Information Systems Department is responsible for the development, implementation and support of all technology utilized across the City's twenty-three departments. During my tenure at the City, I served as the co-chair for the Proactive City Management Team which developed the internal chapter of the community strategic plan, the Field Guide 2030. He has also managed the implementation of the City's Oracle ERP system, migrated to a Mitel VOIP system, oversaw the development of the City’s private cloud infrastructure in the BlueBird Underground co-location facility, replaced the Police Records Management System and Motorola CAD System, implemented cloud-based services for Parks and the City website and provided strategic direction and guidance for an outstanding, customer-service oriented IT team.

Prior to working for the City of Springfield, I served for two years as the Director of Information Technology at Northrop Grumman Litton Interconnect in Springfield and as the Technical Services Manager for EFCO Corporation in Monett, Missouri. I also held several information technology positions for ConocoPhillips in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Guayama, Puerto Rico.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Missouri State University in 1988. In 1997 I received a Masters in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. I am married to my beautiful wife Stacy and we have three children Jordan, Cassidy and Mitchell.

Experienced General Counsel with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Legal Compliance, Litigation Management, Contract Drafting/Negotiation, and Trial Practice.

Samantha Siebert is an Orientation Assistant- Student Specialist at Missouri State University and Chief Elections Commissioner - Student Government Association at Missouri State University and is based in Springfield, Missouri. She has worked as Building Manager- Plaster Student Union at Missouri State University, SOAR Leader at Missouri State University, and President- Student Activities Council at Missouri State University. Samantha studied at Missouri State University between 2014 and 2018.
