Missouri Western State University is a learning community that helps
students receive a quality education through applied learning, and
prepares them to be leaders in their careers and communities. A member of
the State of Missouri school system, the school was originally founded in
1915. The campus is located in St. Joseph, Missouri. The accredited university offers more than 70 undergraduate and graduate
programs. The university's academic departments include the College of
Liberal Arts & Sciences, College of Professional Studies, Steven l. Craig
School of Business, Graduate School, and Regional Community Policing
Institute. The university houses several residence halls for students in an effort
to help them take full advantage of college life. A few of the many
amenities available to students are air conditioning and heating, cable
hook-up, 24-hour police department, and more. Many Missouri Western State University students take advantage of
