About The Job: The EMT role responds to emergency and non-emergency requests, providing Basic Life Support (BLS) as needed, and transports sick or injured persons to the appropriate medical facility. The EMT may work with a Paramedic or other EMS personnel. The EMT complies with appropriate state of Iowa Department of Public Health Standards and regulations. The EMT adheres to MCEMS/MCRHC values and operates as an extension of the organization. The Shift: 36 hours a week Hours: Works Sunday through Saturday, including Holidays. About The Job: The Certified Nurse Aid performs routine and general nurse aid functions on the medical surgical patient care unit. The CNA may also float to the Emergency Department as directed by the Acute Care Director. The Position: PRN, work as needed. May work Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays. Pay: Starts at $17.06 Position Qualifications: Education: High school graduate or GED, preferred Completion of Certified Nurse Aide course. Must be active on the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry. BLS/CPR for Health Care Provider Certification. Experience: Previous hospital nurse aide experience preferred. Special Skills & Aptitudes: Ability to perform detailed assignments, follow direction, understand work has interruptions, and relates to patients, hospital staff, and visitors.
