Some of the two-year-or-less programs offered at the institute include: *Accounting/Business Management *Agricultural Technology *Culinary Arts and Food Services *Telecommunications *Office Technology Specialist *Architectural Design and Building Construction *Medical Assistant *Medical Office Professional *Wind Turbine Technology *Propane and Natural Gas Technologies The institute also offers a number of certificate programs, some of which are: *Chef Training *Carpentry *Electrician *Lineworker *HVAC Technology *Mechanic and Repair Technologies *And more Specific programs at the institute require an internship component, which will provide students with firsthand experience of working in their particular field and strengthening communication and teamwork skills while possibly even being paid for it. Although most of the programs can be completed in two years, the institute welcomes transfer students looking to round out their technical education. Financial aid is offered to eligible students. A number of scholarships are also available specifically for freshmen. Tuition does not include designated book, tools, supplies, or uniform costs. Student housing is not offered by the institute, but the institute provides students with a current list of available housing in the Mitchell Tech area.
