Highly educated and great teamwork within the work force

Cons of working at MITRE

MITRE has too many Vice Presidents and Managers for a 9,000 person company. MITRE has expensive government contracts to the federal government to keep a large overhead executive staff

MITRE transitioned CEOs in 2024 to gain control of expenditures on executive salaries.

MITRE has less experience in a much younger work force since 2022. MITRE has moved into hiring younger, less expensive employees

MITRE does panel interviews. Best to do a panel interview prep session

It's an easy job, not much is expected as long as you tow the line

Cons of working at MITRE

Pay is below market, benefits are bad and dropping, they don't even have janitorial service for emptying trash. You have to empty it yourself.
