Tod serves as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE: DCI), a leading worldwide manufacturer of filtration products and solutions that serve a diverse set of markets and applications. In 2008, Mr. Carpenter was named head of Europe and Middle East for Donaldson, and in 2011 he was named Senior Vice President of Donaldson’s Engine Products segment, a role he held until being named Chief Operating Officer in 2014. Mr. Carpenter was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in 2015 and elected as Chairman of the Board in 2017. Prior to joining Donaldson, Mr. Carpenter spent more than a decade with Hughes Aircraft Company, and later as a consultant for York & Associates. Mr. Carpenter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Technology from Indiana State University and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Long Beach State University.

Villavarayan was promoted to EVP and COO in January 2020, a new position for the company. Prior to that he served as senior vice president and president of Meritor's Global Truck segment, from January 2018. Villavarayan has global operating responsibility for both of Meritor's business segments, Global Truck and Aftermarket & Industrial and Trailer.
