David Newhoff's LinkedIn

David Newhoff is a purpose-driven product and technology leader with 20 years of experience building strong teams that deliver innovative technologies and delightful customer experiences. As VP of Product, he leads the product management and design team at Blurb.

David has a history of creating product cultures, built on his commitment to short customer feedback loops, strong biases toward actionable, data-driven insights, and measurable customer satisfaction. Recently at Kodak Alaris, he launched a new office for the Kodak Moments B2C business in San Francisco, leading the product, design, and full-stack technology, image and data science teams. During his time at HP, David built a new mobile team of product owners, engineers, and designers that launched top-ranking, cutting-edge photo creative, sharing, and e-commerce experiences on both iOS and Android. He also has SaaS experience, building publishing systems, document indexing/classification systems, and data visualization platforms.

His favorite product management advice? Fall in love with the problem, not the solution.

At university David studied History, Computer Science, and Art History. When he’s not focused on product, he loves travel, photography, sailing, hiking, soccer, and spending quality time with his family. He has two daughters who are, not surprisingly, the main characters in the many photo books he has created over the years.
