Moberly Area Community College (MACC) in Moberly, Missouri, provides a full range of educational programs including allied health degrees and a number of degrees in the engineering field. In addition, Moberly's student life activities and services provide for a rich campus experience. Moberly's professional associate's degrees are granted in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, Occupational Therapy Assisting, Physical Therapy Assisting and Education, among others. Moberly also has an Associate of Arts degree, which provides an academic foundation for those who plan to transfer to a four-year school. Engineering programs are in great supply at Moberly as well. Computer Science Engineering, Naval Sciences Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering are just a few examples of these programs, which are designed for those who wish to transfer to a four-year engineering school. Student services like career counseling, tutoring and special assistance for nontraditional students, such as single parents and the unemployed, provide all students with additional support. As the educational center of Moberly, MACC provides additional activities outside of class to keep all students engaged in various ways. Student organizations include an Art Club, several academic and professional clubs, multicultural clubs, service organizations and student government. An open-enrollment institution, Moberly admits any student with a high school diploma or GED to most programs. Certain programs may have additional requirements. Tuition is lower for area residents and students may apply for financial aid.
