Role description:
Arcadis is looking for a Junior or Entry-Level BIM Technician to join our Water Design team. This hybrid role will be based out of our Columbus, OH location.
The Junior or Entry-Level BIM Technician will be responsible for developing engineering drawings and models and preparing designs from general instruction and/or preliminary sketches, diagrams, or schematics prepared by Engineers or others. The ability of the Junior or Entry-Level BIM Technician to perform their own designs (Engineering) is preferred but not a requirement.
Role Accountabilities
We are looking for an junior/entry-level CAD/BIM Designer to join our team and support the creation of detailed project drawings, plans, and models for a variety of engineering projects. The role is responsible for
Updating and creating drawings for site development, grading, utility piping layouts, process mechanical plans, and construction details using AutoCAD and Revit. You will work closely with engineers and designers to generate accurate, high-quality engineering drawings from provided redlines or design schematics.
Responsible for producing floor plans, elevations, section cuts, and schedules in AutoCAD and Revit. You will also be tasked with maintaining site record drawings and ensuring that your work aligns with discipline-specific and company CAD/BIM standards.
Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy will be critical to the success of the projects you contribute to.
Manage your workload throughout the entire project lifecycle, coordinating with local engineers and remote teams to ensure timely delivery of construction plans and related documents.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of CAD and BIM standards, with proven experience working with facility MEP system drawings, asset hierarchies, and associated O&M documents. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required to efficiently manage project documentation and daily tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as this role involves working collaboratively within a team environment and coordinating effectively with colleagues across multiple offices.
Required Qualifications
0-2 years of experience working in CAD and BIM, with proficiency in both AutoCAD (2016 or newer) and Revit.
High school diploma or equivalent plus up to 2 years of college/university level education in Engineering or similar,
Preferred Qualifications
A background in architecture, construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
Experience working with remote teams will be a valuable asset.

SUMMARY
Provides a high level of support services in the Learning Commons including the Testing Center, Tutoring Services, Library, Media Services, and TLC/Open Lab.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Assists with college-wide user logon support and print management.
* Acts as the initial point of contact and support in the response and troubleshooting for hardware and software problems.
* Responds to faculty and staff needs for operational issues and assistance with operating equipment.
* Provides technical assistance for special events: planning, set up, running, troubleshooting, and teardown.
* Provides support for Media Services including equipment reservations, checkouts, inventory, and service tickets.
* Performs campus repairs, preventative maintenance and functionality testing of ATCs, computer labs, and all classroom equipment.
* Provides training workshops to students, faculty, and staff on the varying technologies at the site.
* Administers College tests such as placement and student makeup exams both on campus and off-site as needed.
* Administers other institutional exams such as credit by exams (i.e. CLEP).
* Inputs placement scores into Banner.
* Schedules tutoring, testing, and proctoring appointments.
* Provides support for library circulation desk functions, including the safe-keeping and repository of library reserves and other materials, OhioLINK orders, and maintains site library holdings.
* Participates in the efficient and accurate operation of the Learning Commons processes, procedures and equipment.
* Maintains accurate and complete records of the Learning Commons.
* Anticipates and meets all customer needs accurately, professionally, and with a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Atlantic Emergency Solutions is seeking part-time Specialty Equipment Service Technician (Scott Division) serve our customers in New Philadelphia, OH and surrounding areas.
Successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and supporting all types of Scott SCBA and related compressed air products in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. Areas of service and support include, but are not limited to, air compressors, compressed air dryers, compressed air accessories, application, troubleshooting, performance evaluation, flow testing, service maintenance, and proper installation.
Some of the primary duties and responsibilities for this position are:
Conduct periodic service calls at customer locations and perform preventative maintenance services
Troubleshoot and perform repairs on customer equipment, as required
Pre-schedule jobs, plan routes, manage time, travel, and daily tasks efficiently and effectively
Promote services including product maintenance, equipment upgrades, preventative maintenance, and replacement parts

ARTLENS Gallery Technician (Part-time)

The Cleveland Museum of Art seeks a tech-savvy, customer-focused part-time ARTLENS Gallery Technician to join the award-winning Digital Innovation and Technology Services department. Technicians greet visitors and guide them through the onboarding process for our innovative interactive digital gallery and app, encouraging them to utilize digital toolsets to look closer, dive deeper, and feel comfortable exploring every gallery in the museum. They also maintain and troubleshoot interactive hardware, participate in beta testing and bug reporting for the app, and provide feedback for improving visitor experience.
Requirements
High school diploma (or GED) and one to three years demonstrated experience in a helpdesk and/or audio visual environment. Keen understanding of iOS and Android mobile device and app troubleshooting is required. Knowledge of current computer systems and peripherals, Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office, and basic networking are required.
Positive attitude, excellent customer service and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to instruct and present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users. Responsibilities
Remove any barriers of technology in ARTLENS Gallery by greeting visitors, introducing them to ARTLENS App and gallery interactives, and providing guidance during the onboarding process.
Provide support for technology in gallery installations throughout the museum
Perform cleaning and functionality checks of ARTLENS Gallery interactives during each shift.
Assist visitors in installing ARTLENS App on their personal devices.
Contribute to problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support to the public as well as documenting consistent user issues.
Provide an excellent visitor experience in the ARTLENS Gallery space, using the museum's visitor interaction model as a guide.
Identify problem areas and propose solutions to the Digital Team to enhance the visitor experience, interactive experience, and technology performance in in the ARTLENS Gallery space.
Monitor interactives for content issues and report them to the Digital Team.
Participate in testing and implementation of public-facing technology installations, including those for major exhibitions, providing feedback to the Digital Team.
Performs regular technical training throughout ARTLENS Gallery exhibit area for interns, docents, and volunteers.
Provides readily accessible technical or general information to visitors and staff.
Work with the Digital Project Manager to test new ArtLens App builds and report any usability issues or bugs.
Rent iPads to visitors for use with the ARTLENS App.

Key Responsibilities

Repairs/installs phones, kiosk, video terminals, WAP's, tablets and other required equipment within correctional facilities within assigned area of responsibility.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
2+ years of experience in telecommunications - including installation, repair, and troubleshooting of various inmate communication systems (inmate telephones, video visitation systems, TTY or VRS Units, and Wi-Fi/Access Points)
2 years of experience with computer / network installation and repair. Knowledge of VLAN, advanced knowledge of network configurations, telecom and VOIP a plus.
