The pay range for this position is $150,000 - $230,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Clinical Excellence: Deliver high-quality veterinary care across a variety of practice locations and workflows, including exams, urgent care, and procedures.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with talented support staff in a 2:1 ratio on regular days and a 3:1 ratio on procedure days, allowing for focused and efficient patient care.
Flexibility: Enjoy flexibility in scheduling with part-time or full-time hours available, ranging from 4 to 20 shifts per month, each lasting 10 hours (8am-6pm).

Requirements of a Relief Veterinarian:
Must have active license to practice veterinary medicine in California at the start of relief shifts with Modern Animal
License must be in good standing with no malpractice or disciplinary actions
Must hold personal DEA license
Must maintain personal liability insurance
A paid training shift is required before scheduling any relief shifts. This structured onboarding shift ensures that relief doctors are well-prepared to navigate our EMR system and understand general clinic workflows for a successful start.
The pay range for this position is $1,400 - $1,650 per 10 hour shift; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits may be offered dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the California Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on geographic location.
