A Floater is responsible for providing excellent customer service while helping out at all of our surrounding facilities. The Floater covers shifts when other employees call off or go on vacation. Responsibilities could include cashiering, valet, traffic directing or acting as an ambassador.
*This position requires open availability. This position guarantees 40 hours per week*
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist customers and their passengers in and out of their vehicles, including helping them with their luggage and personal items
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with both customers and employees
Provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner
Welcome and acknowledge all customers according to company standards; anticipate and address customers' needs and thank customers with a genuine appreciation.
Control traffic to ensure a smooth flow at all times, while ensuring pedestrians are safe
Maintain security of vehicles and vehicle keys
Verify the necessary supplies at the start of each shift
Maintain a neat and orderly valet stand at all times that is free of debris and trash
Complete the necessary end of shift documentation and transfer vehicle keys and supporting tickets to the next shift's employee
Monitor and maintain safety, security and cleanliness of parking areas
Arrive in complete uniform before and during scheduled shifts
Must work with or without supervision
Must be able to make cashier transactions
Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
Qualifications
Must drive manual transmission
High school degree required
Must have open availability
Must be 19 years of age or older
Must have reliable vehicle as means of transportation during working hours

* Cleaning experience along with outdoor housekeeping.
* Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
Skills:

* Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
* Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.
* Janitorial, laborer, housekeeping, cleaning, maintenance, porter experience is preferred.
Physical Demands:
* Ability to lift, push and pull at least 30 pounds.
* Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
* Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
* Ability to operate machinery including a golf cart.
* Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED Preferred
* Strong Customer service experience preferred
* Parking and/or hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required.
