Position provides full-time dedicated support to Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Space Capabilities program office in Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO. MDA program offices develop, procure, and produce Missile Defense System (MDS) components (space systems, weapons, sensors, battle management, etc. ). Program offices implement acquisition policy and processes for Agency procurements. Program offices are led by MDS element program managers, functional leads, and senior program office staff to comply with direction/guidance and acquire MDS capability. Program offices may be developing MDS capability simultaneously in several acquisition lifecycle phases from initial research and development to production phases. Developing Mission Capability Implementation Maps that support the portfolio's Capabilities Roadmap. Developing customer requirements and architecture risk analysis assessments.
