Where we need you
2nd Shift (3p-11p) $32-$38 w/ $1.25 Shift Differential
Scrap Rates for assigned presses
Monitor actual cycle times / efficiency
Upkeep of Process Parameter sheets (Info to Engineer)
Identify Problems (Press / Robot / EOAT) Feedback to Engineer)
Logbook Entry / Pass down of shift Issues
Keep Machines clean (Purge / Pellets / Parts & Runners in press / etc.)
Identify ROOT CAUSE and put into barco at each press stoppage (accurate data)
Cleaning of the tools in assigned area (each shift )
Proper Break times and not all together
Training of Setup in process and proper startup of the presses / tools
Other duties as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
ASSEMBLY OPERATORS
Assembly Operations:
Perform assembly tasks such as fitting, fastening, and installing parts and components according to work instructions.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
Assemble automotive parts, sub-assemblies, in a timely manner to meet production targets.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect parts and components for defects or damage before and after assembly.
Ensure that all assembled products meet quality standards and specifications.
Report any quality issues or defects to the Line Leader or Supervisor immediately.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Perform basic housekeeping to keep area clean and safe.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Line Leader or Supervisor.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment, such as cleaning and lubricating.

WELDING OPERATORS
Robotic Welding Machine Operation:
Operate robotic welding systems to perform welding tasks, such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas), spot welding, or laser welding, on automotive parts and components.
Monitor robotic welding processes to ensure consistent quality and adherence to standards.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect welded joints and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Identify and correct defects, such as cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion, in welded parts.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address and resolve any welding-related quality issues.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Job Description
3rd Shift (10:30pm-06:30AM) $18.00 + $1.00/Shift Differential.
Objective: The Machine Operator operates various machinery to tap, ream, form, sand, spot weld and/or rivet components in an exemplary manner according to the company quality policies.
Qualified candidates will possess the following Minimum Requirements:
Three months experience operating manufacturing machinery such as welders, riveters, grinders, tappers, or other assembly machinery
An excellent work record, including attendance
Ability to lift 25 pounds
Operators are responsible for owning a set of approved calipers and micrometers
(Minimum requirements are updated annually to meet the demands of various positions; employees hired prior to the latest revision update may not meet all current requirements)
Essential Functions:
Standard Work:
Read, understand, and complete all production paperwork, including inspection check sheets, quality alerts, and standard work instructions in the job books.
Follow set-up instructions when operating machines. Support activities in the change-over process.
Read, follow, and complete tags.
Use work scheduling system to proficiently start jobs, print labels, load components and raw materials, and close out jobs.
Operate machines and/or presses to process parts via standard instructions, consistently maintaining appropriate production levels.
Troubleshoot machines to ensure both part quality and maximum production levels.
Manually repair parts as needed according to process instructions to meet customer specifications.
Follow pack instructions according to customer specifications and prepare for shipping.
Properly place scrap in the right container.
Check the Total Preventative Maintenance of the machines, and if measurements are found to be out of the defined ranges, notify the Team Leader.
Perform other duties as required to support production as directed by the Team Leader.
Continuous Improvement/Lean Principles:
Efficiently utilize machine downtime.
Participate in, and support lean initiatives such as continuous improvement events and problem solving events, identifying and eliminating all types of waste. Document cost savings, consolidate processes, and eliminate unnecessary operations.
Suggest and implement ideas to increase personal and departmental efficiency.
Anticipate problems and work to eliminate them before they happen.
Quality:
Follow control plans (inspection sheets) to complete first piece and in-process checks. Conduct quality checks per check sheet and quality alerts, including visual inspections.
Use calipers, micrometers, thread gages, height gages, rind gages, and other quality items as required by work center in order to ensure the production of quality parts.
Stop production and notify Team Leader when a non-standard condition is found.
Operate the CMM and interpret CMM reports.
Safety/5S:
Follow all safety procedures, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), controls, safety devices and use of coolants.
Identify potential safety issues and take appropriate action, bringing to the attention of leadership.
Organization/Communication/Professionalism:
Effectively communicate with co-workers and management personnel to enhance teamwork and communication initiatives.

This is an entry level position; however testing will be conducted to determine conformance to required aptitude level. Prior manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required combined with a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

SUMMARY: The Molding Machine Operator's primary responsibility is to make sure the parts being produced to meet customers' requirements (See QC Standard). However, there may be times when the Molding Machine Operator will be required to perform other duties as requested through Management or his/her Supervisor. Reports functionally to his/her Molding Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Make sure parts fall from mold/cycle the gate.
• Do secondary operations to meet customer requirements. (See QC Standard)
• Follow operator instruction sheet.
• Bar code parts.
• Pack parts (See packaging instruction).
• Think safety first.
• If non- conforming parts occur, contact supervisor immediately.
• Sign Operator Instruction Verification Sign-Off Sheet.
• To make sure that production requirements are made on a shift basis.
• General housekeeping and organization of workstation.
• Scrap recording and plotting.
• Responsible to maintain production boards on an hourly basis.
• Responsibilities include all listed above, but are not limited only to those listed above.
• Complete any and all tasks or assignments as requested by Management or Supervisor
• Maintain compliance of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001.
Follows all safety, housekeeping and company policies and procedures.
Coordinates and maintains all job responsibilities in a continuous and flexible manner and performs other related duties and job assignments as required.
