Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project requirements are met. Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess project variables and develop reliable design solutions independently. Prepare detailed design documents, specifications, and reports. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Ensure compliance with design standards and regulations. Participate in/lead project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. Successfully manage projects and tasks of a scope, complexity, and revenue budget appropriate to experience. Provide oversight for Electrical Engineering staff. Manages and plans the production resources and workflow to produce the design documentation, drawings, and calculations required for electrical engineering projects. Act as QC reviewer on projects. Essential skills and experience: An expected graduation date in Fall 2026, Spring 2027, Fall 2027, or Spring 2028 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE) degree with a strong academic background and coursework in electrical power. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Self-starter, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal direction. Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions, and meet deadlines.
