Job summary:
The Radiation Therapy Business Practice Manager is responsible for managing the resources and policies to ensure optimal MMG radiation therapy faculty practice support and revenue cycle processes for both physician and Technical billing as well as provide management support for assign modalities. Assures accurate and up-to-date charge master and CPT codes.

The Associate Center Director (ACD) and Division Chief of Physical & Quantitative Sciences at Moffitt Cancer Center (Moffitt) is a newly-reimagined, senior academic leadership role responsible for driving center-wide, transformative research innovation in artificial intelligence (Al), machine learning, mathematical oncology, bioengineering, biostatistics, and bioinformatics in oncology. The ACD is responsible for providing strategic vision, scientific leadership, and administrative oversight for the Division across multiple disciplines within the Departments of Biostatistics & Bioinformatics (Bio2), Bioengineering, Integrated Mathematical Oncology (IMO), and Machine Learning (ML). This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and expand Moffitt's strengths in physical and quantitative sciences through interdisciplinary research and strategic growth. A primary responsibility of this role will be to foster collaborations across research and clinical faculty and senior administration to grow in-house expertise, research infrastructure, and team science partnerships that advance innovative approaches to advance cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. The ACD of Physical & Quantitative Sciences will partner with other ACDs (Basic, Clinical, Population, and Translational Sciences; Community Outreach & Engagement; Shared Resource Management; Research Education & Training; Administration) in advising the Cancer Center Director on setting research priorities and scientific vision as a member of the Research Executive Committee (REX). The ACD will also maintain top-tier active research programs that are principally funded by extramural grants; will publish original reports in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals; contribute local, national/international service to professional societies and committees/study sections/advisory boards; and provide teaching and mentoring of faculty, staff, fellows, and graduate students.
This is an essential leadership position to retain Moffitt's NCI Designation as a Comprehensive Cancer Center. This role is critical to ensuring the scientific rigor, reproducibility, and impact of cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center. The ACD of Physical & Quantitative Sciences plays a key part in upholding the standards required for NCI designation and advancing the overall mission of Moffitt and improving cancer outcomes through innovative, data-driven research.
The ACD of Physical & Quantitative Sciences provides high-level strategic leadership and administrative direction for academic research that is focused on quantitative, computational, bioengineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning scientific initiatives. Specific activities include leadership and coordination of the four academic departments in the Division, including appointment of Chairs and Vice Chairs; oversight of the Division Appointment, Promotion &Tenure (APT) Committee; establishment of search committees for faculty recruitment; and annual review of space for faculty needs. This position provides shared oversight of Research Programs involving the Division of Physical & Quantitative Sciences and partners with the ACD of Shared Resource Management on services that are aligned with this Division. Summary
As a Surgical Scheduling Specialist here at Moffitt, you are responsible for scheduling any surgical cases for assigned providers and clinical area(s). As part of this process, responsibilities may include reviewing surgical orders for accuracy, scheduling any pre-op and ancillary services and communicating timely and providing the highest level of customer service to the surgical team, inter-departments and the patient and family.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
* Associates Degree or some college
* One (1) year experience in hospital, outpatient facility or physician office or equivalent healthcare experience.
* One (1) year of customer service experience.
* Excellent verbal communication and organization skills
Responsibilities:
* Processing orders submitted by surgeon(s).
* Communicates any issues impacting scheduling in a timely manner to medical team.
* Communicate with patients in a timely manner.
* Obtain open time for additional procedure scheduling.
* Coordinate and effectively communicate with other departments.
* Other duties as assigned.
Credentials and Qualifications:
* High School Diploma/GED
* Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in hospital, outpatient facility or physician office or equivalent healthcare.

Summary
The Director of Business Development is responsible for leading the growth and expansion of Moffitt's research collaborations/alliances by developing and implementing strategic plans for meeting organizational goals. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, business development expertise, and leadership skills to identify opportunities, build key partner relationships, negotiate and close business deals, and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Negotiate Terms
* At an advanced level, negotiate key business terms for research collaborations and strategic alliances (negotiate budgets, payment terms, termination rights, data and IP rights, revenue share, etc.)
Manage Staff
* At an advanced level, directly manage a team of business development professionals. Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to the team to foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance
* At an advanced level, maintaining high quality assurance standards (reviews and scores work product from team members).
Forecast Revenue
* At an advanced level, analyzes historical data, deal pipeline, and Moffitt's strategic priorities to establish financial target Business Unit.

Lead Negotiator

Minimum Experience Required
* 7 years of business development experience, which includes but not limited to licensing technologies, forging industry collaborations, creating new companies, serving as a leader in a growing company, and evaluating investment opportunities
* 5 years of supervisory experience
* 9 years of business development experience with a lesser degree of Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration or

The Department of Radiation Oncology Research is looking for a committed Research Project Manager to oversee and coordinate a wide range of translational research projects led by radiation oncology faculty. * Must have the ability to work well under the pressure of meeting mandatory deadlines.
* Must have good organizational skills and careful attention to detail.

Summary
The Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Interventional Radiology at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida invites applications for a full-time Interventional Radiologist faculty appointment at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Senior Member in the Division of Interventional Radiology Imaging.
Moffitt's Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Interventional Radiology currently includes 55 clinical faculty members. The rapidly expanding division of Interventional Radiology (IR) currently consists of 13 full-time Interventional Radiologists and 11 mid-level Providers. The position is 100% effort in IR. The IR division has 5 angiography suites including 3 hybrid CT / angiography suites, and two C-arm procedure room, as well as 3 dedicated interventional CT scanners and 3 ultrasound rooms. The section performs a full array of interventional oncology procedures. IR has a clinic and participates in multidisciplinary tumor boards and conferences.
A large number of research and teaching opportunities are available. The Imaging Research program receives about $7 million per year in NIH funding and includes 1400 sq. ft. of wet lab space, a full animal imaging suite, sophisticated image analytic and mathematical modeling capabilities. Dedicated academic time is provided and PhD-level scientists are employed by the department to assist the clinical faculty in their research efforts. All investigator-initiated clinical trials at Moffitt include a radiologist as co-investigator.
Requirements:
Applicants must have or be eligible to obtain a Florida medical license, a M.D. degree or equivalent, be ABR certified, completed an interventional radiology residency or diagnostic radiology residency, followed by interventional radiology fellowship. In addition, applicants must also have eligibility for a CAQ in Interventional Radiology. The successful candidate should have training and experience in interventional oncology and evidence of interest and achievement in teaching and research.
