Minimum * Associate's degree or certiicate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent. * At least 1 year of WordPress experience * Experience preparing technical documentation for systems, architectures, and integrations. * Web development, including design, build, and project management. * Experience working specifically on systems integration projects, where you connect multiple software applications or services. * Working in a development environment that is supportive of internal user customizations Preferred * Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Technology Management) may be preferred, particularly for applicants. * A strong track record in designing, developing, and implementing complex web applications and integrations across various systems (e.g. LMS, SIS, ERP, cloud platforms) is critical. * Experience working in higher education, particularly in colleges, would be a significant advantage. This includes familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas and Student Information Systems (SIS) such as Ellucian. * At least 3 years of hands-on experience with integration technologies (e.g. RESTful APIs, SOAP, middleware, and data synchronization techniques). * Experience in web development frameworks and languages, primarily HTML, Kotlin, PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, Visual Studio (e.g. Node.js, React, Angular, Vue.js, Java, Python, Ruby). * Knowledge of security best practices in web applications and integration, including data protection and privacy regulations such as FERPA, HIPAA, or other relevant compliance frameworks. * Experience implementing secure coding practices and ensuring data integrity and confidentiality across applications. * Current Certificate Ethical Hacker certification or ability to obtain the same within 6 months of hire. * Experience or open to learning Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and project management tools to prioritize tasks effectively. Process Improvement, Systems Support & Departmental Operations * Update and standardize departmental processes and procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and continuity. * Assist staff with accounting-related tasks and provide technical or procedural guidance. * Provide backup support for procurement, budgeting, banking, and other Financial Services functions, as needed. * Assist in developing and implementing automated processes, workflows, and system improvements. Training, Communication & Administrative Support * Train college staff, faculty, students, and external partners on systems, procedures, travel processes, procurement requirements, and financial workflows. * Communicate effectively with vendors, faculty, staff, and campus partners to resolve financial or procedural issues. * Prepare correspondence, summaries, reports, logs, spreadsheets, and other documentation; maintain records and files. * Coordinate meetings, schedules, and departmental communications as needed. Other Duties * Handle confidential information and sensitive records in accordance with federal and state regulations. * Participate in committees and meetings as assigned. * Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned. Minimum Qualifications * At least 3 years of accounting or finance team work experience and/or education in 4 out of 7 of the following areas: accounts payable, reporting, analytics, audit, compliance, Ellucian ERP, administrative support. Follow written and oral instructions. Difficult or unusual problems are usually referred to the supervisor or other appropriate personnel. This position functions under direct supervision and decision making is based upon set policies and procedures. May only work traditional hours. * Perform general office functions in support of a department or specialized area of the college. * Duties may include, but not be limited to, data entry, filing, copying, collating, answering phones, opening and distributing mail, and maintaining supplies and/or equipment. * Greet visitors, provide basic information, answer telephone and take messages or transfer to appropriate personnel. May schedule appointments. * Receive student applications and/or forms applicable to the area assigned. Verify information for accuracy, completeness and timeliness, and process according to established procedures and guidelines. * May perform basic data entry of information into on-line computer systems. May retrieve and compile data for reports according to established procedures. * Perform basic record keeping of documents and forms received, processed and/or distributed. May maintain physical and/or automated filing systems. * Assist in coordinating the processing of documents and records between college departments and/or with other agencies according to established rules, regulations and procedures. * Confer with supervisor to discuss work processes, plans and/or actions to be taken and appropriate work assignments. * Adhere to college, federal and state administrative procedures, guidelines, initiatives and directives to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations affecting college operations. * Provide backup support to faculty, student services or as needed. * May prepare documents for use in bulk - such as copying and collating class hand- outs or preparing bulk mailings. * Assist and/or or maintain the cleanliness of an area or department. * May assist in preparing coursework materials. * Perform other tasks of a similar nature or level as assigned. High School diploma or a GED or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job such as those listed above. Intent to enroll in 6 credits of applicable coursework each semester to remain employed.
