WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Classroom teacher, principals, office personnel JOB GOAL: To assist in providing a well-organized, smoothly-functioning school environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resources. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: This list represents the essential tasks performed by the position. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice. 1. Maintains and respects confidentiality of all information acquired. 2. Prepares classroom activities under the supervision of the certified employee. 3. Works with small groups of students to reinforce material being taught. 4. Supervises students in classes taught by outside agencies. 5. Assists individual students in need of special attention. 6. Assists in creating visual schedules for individual students. 7. Assists students with toileting needs including diapering and toilet training. 8. Assists in duties relating to supervision of student activities in any area on school campus where students are present as assigned by the principal. 9. Operates office, audio/visual, and technology equipment. 10. Attends required professional development programs. 11. Performs all other duties as may be assigned for the benefit of school programs. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: School days and hours per year as designated in a one-year work agreement. Salary to be established with the Board. EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Administrative Personnel.15.15
