Mold Changer
Location: Forest City, NC
Available shifts: rotating 1st & 2nd (8 hour) or straight 3rd (8 hour)
Pay rate: $21.71/hr.
Sign on Bonus: $2,500 paid out in four 90 day increments

The Forest City, NC Plastics Injection Molding location has an opening for a Mold Changer. This hourly position reports directly to the shift supervisor and is responsible for the safety of one's self and fellow employees.
Experience in proper mold installation procedures and a working knowledge and understanding of the 5 key processing parameters is preferred but not required. Additionally, we would prefer candidates who are mechanically inclined, however, training will be provided to the selected candidate which will enable them to utilize this knowledge to set up a Mold and associated equipment to produce a quality product.
Candidate must:
Focus on working safely to support an injury-free environment.Follow Division safety rules and demonstrate leadership in establishing and following Safe Work Procedures.Understand and demonstrate sound mold installation and set up procedures Be capable of making sound decisions with regards to executing priorities and cost control(scrap and efficiency focus) Be capable of safely and properly installing and starting existing molds with established processes utilizing the 5 key process parameters. Demonstrate sound troubleshooting skills and technical aptitude in order to conduct systematic analysis of tooling, processes, and machines to solve existing problems.Understand Quality system and be able to interpret data as it relates to molding process Be responsible for accurate and thorough documentation and data communication
