Usually, mold makers don't need a college education. The most common degree for mold makers is high school diploma with 30% graduates, with only 30% mold maker graduates earning associate degree. Mold makers who decided to graduate from college often finish The Art Institute of Pittsburgh or Vincennes University. Some good skills to have in this position include grinders, plastic injection molds and cnc machines.
