Key Responsibilities Make required mold changes on industrial machinery, both installation and removal Make changes to machinery that optimize production output and reduce scrap Perform set-up process for industrial molds within manufacturing environment Perform maintenance and minor repairs on molds within manufacturing facility Understand the production process as it relates to Plastic Thermoforming Operator overhead crane and forklifts as necessary to move molds Troubleshoot production and quality issues and provide feedback on discoveries Work in a safe manner to not jeopardize yourself, your teammate or company property Qualifications Qualifications and Experience Proficient mechanical skills and basic electrical knowledge Prior mold or die maintenance experience is preferred Tow motor, Overhead Crane and LOTO (lock out tag out) certified will be trained and tested on-site Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have flexibility to a work schedule Demonstrates the ability to critically think and problem solve with relation to mechanical and production challenges Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Must adhere to all safety guidelines and foster a safe work culture Must be able to lift to 100 pounds as necessary

Other duties are required and/or assigned * Remove molded components from the mold once the injection molding machine has finished its cycle * Prepare cores and mold for next cycle * When applicable test parts during the injection molding machine cycle to predetermined specifications * Inspect parts for overall integrity while the injection molding machine is cycling * Maintain quality and efficiency standards * Use of manual and semiautomatic fixtures * Complete paperwork accurately and legibly * Cross-functional training required * Follow instructions and procedures accurately and precisely Requirements Minimum Qualifications: * Must be 18 years or older to apply. Language Skills: * Ability to read, and interpret technical procedures in English * Ability to effectively communicate in English Mathematical Skills: * Ability to apply concepts of basic math Reasoning Ability: * Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to see items 1/32" or smaller, good eye-hand coordination, ability to handle repetitive tasks. * Lab coats, hair nets, beard covers (if applicable), and shoe covers must be worn Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and facilitate teamwork.
