Belden is transforming how we go to market-shifting from a product-led model to a fully integrated, verticalized, solutions-driven commercial engine. As part of this transformation, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Execution & Excellence to help design, operationalize, and scale the execution system that underpins our vertical strategy across the Americas region (AMS).
This role is ideal for a top-tier consulting manager or a strategic operator with strong problem-solving, operating model design, and cross-functional leadership experience. You will work directly with the VP of Solutions Growth & Execution and serve as a thought partner in shaping how AMS plans, executes, measures, and continuously improves against its commercial priorities.
You will build the operating rhythm for vertical execution, coordinate KPI governance across AMS commercial and innovation functions, run regional Ops Reviews, and represent AMS in pre- and post-deal commercial integration efforts. The role requires a blend of structured thinking, practical execution, analytical rigor, and strong stakeholder leadership.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that places you at the center of AMS's transformation.
What You'll Do
1. Vertical Planning & Execution Leadership
* Build and manage the vertical execution operating system for AMS-annual planning, investment prioritization, and in-year execution cadence.
* Design frameworks, processes, and problem-solving structures that convert strategy into consistent execution across multiple commercial teams.
* Partner across AMS commercial leadership (Solution Sales, Partner Sales, BD, Global Accounts, Marketing, Services) to ensure coordinated, cross-vertical decision-making rather than siloed strategies.
2. KPI Governance & Quarterly Operations Reviews
* Design the KPI architecture for vertical execution across commercial and innovation teams.
* Lead monthly KPI tracking and insight generation; ensure cross-functional accountability.
* Run quarterly AMS Operations Reviews, synthesizing performance insights, surfacing gaps, and enabling leadership decision-making on resourcing and investments.
* Ensure KPIs reflect AI-enabled efficiencies and partner with Sales Ops and Digital teams on adoption and business impact tracking.
3. Strategic Operating Model & Execution Design
* Translate high-level strategy into actionable operating models, execution frameworks, templates, and narratives that can be adopted across AMS.
* Provide structured challenge and thought partnership to the VP of Solutions Growth & Execution, strengthening the clarity and scalability of execution plans.
* Develop materials and storylines that support regional and global leadership alignment.
4. M&A Commercial Orchestration (Pre- & Post-Deal)
* Represent AMS commercial needs during deal sourcing and evaluation-ensuring regional customer, vertical, and commercial considerations are reflected in diligence.
* Support development of AMS-specific integration requirements for post-merger integration playbooks.
* Track commercial synergy realization and coordinate cross-functional execution post-close.
5. Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
* Act as a bridge between Commercial, Innovation, Finance, Digital, and Operations to ensure aligned planning, execution, and measurement.
* Coordinate inputs from multiple teams; ensure stakeholders are aligned and deliver on critical milestones.
* Influence without authority-drive clarity, alignment, and momentum across diverse teams and senior leaders.
What You Bring
* 3-5 years of experience in management consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or similar) or in a strategy/execution leadership role within a complex commercial organization.
* Strong strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to design frameworks, simplify complexity, and drive structured execution.
* Experience orchestrating cross-functional initiatives, ideally involving commercial, product, or operations teams.
* Proven ability to lead KPI governance, performance tracking, or operational review processes.
* Exposure to M&A diligence or integration is a plus (not required but helpful).
* Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; able to influence senior leaders and simplify complex operational topics.
* Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and driving clarity where structure is still emerging.
Why This Role Matters
* You will help build the execution foundation for Belden's next 3-5 years of commercial strategy.
* You will collaborate directly with senior AMS leadership and influence global frameworks.
* You will have broad visibility across commercial, innovation, and operations teams.
* You will shape how vertical execution becomes a sustainable, repeatable muscle within Belden.
