We are looking for a Customer Quality Manager that will have the primary responsibility to lead Customer Complaints and the audit process. This person will have one direct report. As the leader, this person will lead the resolution of all Optical customer quality complaints. This person will lead audits, provide final analysis and documentation and drive customer complaints to resolution. In the event of serious quality customer defects, this person will partner with internal product teams to contain and improve quality issues.

What You Will Do
Support leadership with resolution activities for customer quality defects and complaints
Work with account teams (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Program Management and Advanced Quality) to meet customer quality requirements including product reliability, compliance, safety certification and manufacturing
Work with account teams to manage project quality review with customer and mitigate quality risks in design-in activities
Work with account teams for customers' quality surveys and technology audits

This person will perform predictive engineering analysis, root cause analysis and data statistical analysis and raise issues as necessary to leaders to help solve design issues and NPI manufacturing challenges.
What You Will Do
Develops quality system for New Products from component to assembly within optical products development team.
Monitors and guides Product Development team to ensure Advanced Quality Planning is applied in the development process.
Accountable to Product Development Team, manufacturing plants and customer on quality issues.
Performs complex problem-solving and set priorities on many different problems on multiple New Products at the same time.
Champions lessons learned
Reduce failure modes and provide predictive engineering analysis testing
Facilitates and provides expertise in the development of DFMEA's, PFMEA's, Control Plans, Qualification Plans, etc., in new product development and product changes
Provides root cause analysis and data statistical analysis to solve design issues, NPI manufacturing challenges, and customer complaints.
Ensures customer required documentation relating to customer acceptance of new products and product modifications are completed.
Partners closely and supports with plant quality engineers and suppliers to meet new product quality and timing goals.
Leads the problem solving (8D's), analysis, and resolution of new product related customer complaints or internal quality complaints during launch.
Supports efforts for prevention of repeat issues and systemic improvements to the Product Development Processes to reduce New Products RMAs
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline or Engineering Management discipline
At least 5 years in quality engineering
Experience in quality for high tech products in semi-conductor or optical products and/or components
Knowledge of metrology and GD&T
Experience in performing data analysis
Fluent in Mandarin
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 5-15%
For this role, we anticipate paying $130,000- $160,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
