Essential Job Duties
* Determines appropriateness and medical necessity of health care services provided to plan members.
* Supports plan utilization management program and accompanying action plan(s), which includes strategies to ensure high-quality member care - ensuring members receive the most appropriate care at the most effective setting. •Evaluates effectiveness of utilization management (UM) practices - actively monitoring for over and under-utilization.
* Educates and interacts with network, group providers and medical managers regarding utilization practices, guideline usage, pharmacy utilization and effective resource management.
* Assumes leadership relative to knowledge, implementation, training, and supervision of the use of the criteria for medical necessity.
* Participates in and maintains the integrity of the appeals process, both internally and externally.
* Responsible for investigation of adverse incidents and quality of care concerns.
* Participates in preparation for national committee for quality assurance (NCQA) and utilization review accreditation commission (URAC) certifications.
* Provides leadership and consultation for NCQA standards/guidelines for the plan including compliant clinical quality improvement activity (QIA) in collaboration with clinical leadership and quality improvement teams.
* Facilitates conformance to Medicare, Medicaid, NCQA and other regulatory requirements.
* Reviews quality referred issues, focused reviews and recommends corrective actions.
* Conducts retrospective reviews of claims and appeals and resolves grievances related to medical quality of care.
* Attends or chairs committees as required such as credentialing, Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) and other committees as directed by the chief medical officer.
* Evaluates authorization requests in timely support of nurse reviewers, reviews cases requiring concurrent review and manages the denial process.
* Monitors appropriate care and services through continuum among hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and home care to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and continuity of care.
* Ensures that medical decisions are rendered by qualified medical personnel and not influenced by fiscal or administrative management considerations, and that care provided meets the standards for acceptable medical care.
* Ensures medical protocols and rules of conduct for plan medical personnel are followed.
* Develops and implements plan medical policies.
* Provides implementation support for quality improvement activities.
* Stabilizes, improves and educates primary care physicians and specialty networks; monitors practitioner practice patterns and recommends corrective actions as needed.
* Fosters clinical practice guideline implementation and evidence-based medical practices.
* Utilizes information technology and data analytics to produce tools to report, monitor and improve utilization management.
* Actively participates in regulatory, professional and community activities.
Required Qualifications
* At least 3 years health care experience, including at least 2 years of medical practice experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
* Active and unrestricted Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) license in state of practice.
* Board certification.
* Working knowledge of applicable national, state, and local laws and regulatory requirements affecting medical and clinical staff.
* Ability to work cross-collaboratively within a highly matrixed organization.

Program goals are to provide positive, developmentally supportive experiences, which assist patients in reducing fear and anxiety associated with hospitalization

What qualifications you will need:

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Phlebotomist/Laboratory Assistant, you'll be primarily based in the Laboratory. You will be responsible for the skillful collection of blood samples, blood culture samples, and other body fluid samples from inpatient and outpatient populations ranging in age from neonatal to geriatric. * You will be responsible for specimen processing, answering the telephone, processing sends out specimens, loading specimens onto instrumentation, and faxing laboratory results in accordance with hospital policy and any other duties within the scope of licensure
* You will also share the job of working as a secretary in the front of the lab. Other responsibilities include admitting, filing, greeting patients, and answering phones
* You will prepare appropriate specimens for reference lab couriers, maintain adequate stock levels on drawing carts/trays/drawing room, clean the working environment in the processing and drawing areas, and adequately utilize the lab computer system (Meditech) and other lab equipment
* You will adhere to established policies and procedures in performing assigned duties
Requirements:
* You must have a high school diploma or GED
* Certified by the State of Nevada as a Laboratory Assistant or provide evidence of eligibility to apply to the program
* You must have a valid Phlebotomy certificate
* Formal training as a Medical Assistant or a graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy Training Program is preferred
* Excellent communication skills are required
* You must understand Medical Terminology and have computer knowledge
* CPR certification is preferred
* It is preferred that you have at least six months of work experience in a clinical laboratory; however, we may consider a recent graduate of an accredited phlebotomy training program

As a Billing Specialist for our surgery centers, you will be responsible for providing and contributing to the company's mission, vision, and values by accurately billing all diagnosis and procedures from medical records with proper ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes. Job Summary and Qualifications

The Vice President of Division Clinical Operations (VPDCO) is responsible for leading the division's Clinical Resource Management Program and Operating Room Internal Control Coordinators, implementing and measuring supply expense management initiatives, and directing supply chain activities in collaboration with other supply chain stakeholders with a focus on surgical and procedural services departments, e.g. Cath lab, Endoscopy, interventional radiology and special procedures. The VPDCO will collaborate with the Supply Chain Director and Clinical Resource Management Team to ensure data integrity, accuracy and efficiency of the preference card process, support the Supply Chain team to lead margin improvement activities, which includes inventory management and patient billing review. The VPDCO will review and optimize the group purchasing organization's contract portfolio; develop and execute product standardizations for the entire division; and implement national product formularies and standardizations. The VPDCO will collaborate with the Hospital Executive Leadership at the Corporate, Division and Facility level to execute Supply Chain Operations and HCA Clinical Operations Group plan. This individual is responsible for leading change positively, and setting the tone of the department as a service organization, continuously seeking to understand, meet, and exceed customer needs. The President of Division Clinical Operations is responsible for driving positive change through program definition and leading initiatives that support the health care organization's clinical, operations, quality, and financial agenda. The VPDCO role supports the overall HCA goal of being the provider of choice for physicians.
Major Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and strategic direction in supply chain operations in surgical and procedural areas, supply expense management, and supply chain clinical integration
* Establishes a clinically driven culture in Supply Chain through building strong alliances with hospital executives, physicians, and clinicians
* Collaborate with facility and warehouse teams to assimilate information from a variety of sources and analyze financial, operational, clinical, quality, and service metrics
* Communicate strategic recommendations and execute a course of action for overall improvement in operations, expense, clinical integration, quality, and service
* Execute clinical utilization and expense management plans and ensure alignment with facility and division teams and report these results to the Supply Chain Chief Executive Officer in an accurate and timely manner
* Participate in the identification, creation, or implementation of tools and best practices
* Successfully integrate the department's services with the hospital's primary functions
* Understand the strategies of the facility and develop plans to support those strategies
* Support development and assist with implementation of policies and procedures that guide or support service level expectations as applicable

* Provide expense saving enhancement strategies for supplies in collaboration with hospital leadership

* Support and attend PI assessments for surgical services or any other ad hoc assessment related to supply chain
* Collaborate with supply chain teams to effectively implement and support the warehouse stocking strategies
* Assist in training, management, support and evaluation of surgical and specialty services facility staff to include ORICCs, ORMMs, CLMs as applicable. Hire, train, manage and evaluate facility Clinical Resource Directors, and ORICCs.
* Utilize benchmarking and other utilization dashboards to drive margin improvement
* Create internal customer confidence, strive to improve customer satisfaction, and manage customer expectations through alignment of key stakeholders
* Leads division CVAT and supports/participates in other clinical value analysis or service line committees to review products and technology for clinical evidence and benefit; discuss financial considerations to include contract compliance, cost and reimbursement; review and execute on opportunities to standardize products and reduce waste; and to maintain or increase product quality and patient outcomes.
* Collaborates with the division to track and analyze financial data; Monitors contract compliance and non-contract spend; Implements contracted products in place of non-contracted products with a focus on procedural areas and physician preference cards.
* Manages division projects within scope, time, and budget; Executes and optimizes financial resiliency initiatives within division and organization; performs data mining to quantify financial impact of supply and operational savings with a primary focus on procedural areas to include Surgical Services, Cath Lab, EpLab and Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures.
* Interacts with HealthTrust Corporate Supply Chain, HCA Clinical Services Groups, Division Supply Chain, Division and Facility Leadership, and Physicians to identify improvement opportunities; develops and implements continuous quality improvement processes regarding supply and labor practices; and recommends cost reduction.
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or similar-Required
* Master's degree-Preferred
* Minimum of five years hospital management experience required-Required
* Large hospital, multiple campus facility experience-Preferred

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Certified Surgical First Assist, you will work under the direction of the operating surgeon. You will function as first/second assistant to the surgeon during the operative procedure, providing aid in exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions to ensure safe and efficient outcomes. You will be responsible for restocking and changing over rooms between cases.
What you will do in this role:
* You will demonstrate the necessary practical, technical and/or specialized knowledge and skills required in accordance with ASA (Association of Surgical Assistants) and other regulatory standards
* Communicate with the surgeon prior to the case to ascertain specific needs
* You will share information with the remainder of the surgical team in a timely manner
* You will assisting with patient positioning, skin preparation, and surgical draping according to the surgeon's protocol
* You will anticipate the needs of the surgeon in order to expedite the procedure, while minimizing the patient's exposure to surgical and anesthetic stress
* You will ensure the temperature of the patient is discussed with anesthesia personnel in compliance with desired temperature ranges
* You will assist the surgeon by providing retraction and aiding exposure of the operative site
* Facilitate hemostasis of the surgical site by performing suction, irrigation and sponging during a surgical procedure
* You will assist with skin or external suturing and stapling under the surgeon's direction
Qualifications for this role:
* Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program in surgical assisting and attain the CSFA credential administrated by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
* One year experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center

This position serves as the critical resource and strategic liaison between hospitals and post-acute providers to drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes, optimize acute care throughput, and support the HCA's Value-Based Care objectives. This individual will strategically partner with hospitals, physician groups, and community agencies to co-develop and implement mutually agreed-upon objectives. These collaborative goals will be designed to optimize outcomes at the patient level while enhancing operational efficiency for care providers. If applicable, the liaison will support alternative payment arrangements with payers (value-based care program). Current programs supported include CMS' Transforming Episode Accountability Model (TEAM).
Assures appropriate implementation of Value-Based Post-Acute Networks in markets and hospitals selected under Core-Based Statistical Areas (CBSAs) identified by CMS under the TEAM program. In the absence of TEAM program selection, the clinical liaison will continue to perform all duties outlined below, excluding items specific to the TEAM program and formal PCN networks.
Additionally, this role partners with hospital case management directors, Division CM leadership, and hospital executive leaders within the post-acute care community who provide continuum of care services, managing relationships through influence and data-driven expertise.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for assisting in the development a network of post-acute network providers/agencies to support the TEAM program.
* Informs local teams of preferred provider network selection criteria and assists local team by utilizing the criteria to develop their networks within TEAM markets

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Facility Case Management Director has the overall responsibility for managing and coordinating department activities. The Director ensures staff compliance with organizational policies and external regulatory agencies and takes leadership responsibility to coordinate the integration of the departments patient care and discharge planning processes with related hospital departments and external agencies to ensure continuity of care and optimal clinical resource utilization. The Director is a registered nurse with responsibility for all operational aspects of the department. This position is a subject matter expert in case management that requires solid leadership, trust building, team building, as well as change management skills to ensure success of the department and case management initiatives. This position requires an individual who is a self-starter and has the ability to manage multiple priorities, work with minimal supervision on projects and activities, and demonstrate tact and diplomacy in situations of conflict and controversy. This individual must be able to adapt quickly to change and coordinate efforts across multiple stakeholders.

* Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including the case management model, staffing (skill mix and FTEs), use of information technologies, onboarding, and staff competencies to achieve performance and quality objectives.
* Allocates resources to effectively staff department and meet productivity and quality goals.
* Responsible for oversight of CM core functions and practice.
* Ensures the adherence to care coordination and discharge planning processes, ensuring timeliness, quality, and proper documentation.
* Works with the Facility CFO and Division CM Leader to achieve established goals and expectations.

* As an X-Ray Technician you will perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
