Position Overview:
As a Campus Engagement Specialist at Galen College of Nursing, you will coordinate campus and student engagement activities, as well as other related services to support student success in the nursing programs and career preparation. This position will collaborate with Galen's faculty, administration, and staff in addressing the needs of a student population with diverse academic, cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. In addition, the Campus Engagement Specialist will organize career fairs, new student orientation and other campus events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate to organize and/or implement graduation and honor ceremony events, as required.
* Organize and facilitate new student orientation.
* Develop and facilitate career information workshops and career fairs to enhance student/graduate readiness for employment.
* Collaborate with the nurse sponsor Galen Student Nurse Association and assist GSNA in planning quarterly programming, as required.
* Facilitate the Student Advisory Committee.
* Facilitates the Student Veteran's Association.
* Recruits, trains, monitors, and coordinates the Student Ambassador and Peer Mentor programs.
* Serve as the primary student point of contact for the Student Success Department.
* Refers students in need of services to the appropriate Student Success Department staff.
* Promote Student Success Department services within the campus.
* Monitor, document, and report student utilization of department services
* Participate in campus activities including committee work, and campus events.
* Serve as the campus-level coordinator for internal investigations of ADA related grievances.
* Collaborate with the 504 Coordinator, campus leadership, and Compliance and Regulatory Affairs to ensure that attempts to mediate and resolve complaints are made prior to formal grievance stage.
* Assist the 504 Coordinator and campus leadership to ensure that ADA investigations and hearings are conducted according to policies and procedures.
Position Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in education, student affairs, social services, counseling, or related field preferred.
* Special Qualifications: Microsoft Office computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel competencies. Student information system program experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must present a professional demeanor and appearance. Must assist in a variety of complex administrative duties involving contact and exposure to proprietary information. Utilizes independent judgement, determining when to act for management and when to refer problems for personal attention. Must have dependable transportation for frequent local travel. Demonstrate dependability and attention to detail. Membership in a professional career services organization is a plus. Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen, lift up to 30 pounds, and sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Claims Operations Lead position's primary function is to support the unit in work distribution and accurate adjudication of claims. In addition, the position is responsible for training and providing direction to Claims Examiners and Audit Research personnel.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Adjudicates and distributes work assignments including complex claims, resolving all system edits and audits for hard copy and electronic claims in accordance with policy.
Works directly with Health Plans and external vendors to resolve claims issues.
Coordinates necessary workflows for verification of referral and payment on non- participating provider claims.
Resolves provider and eligibility issues relating to received claims.
Processes high dollar claims in accordance with procedures.
Identifies potential system programming issues and assists with resolution.
Performs any necessary system testing for implementation of new processes within the -400.
Provides technical support and training for claims processors and claims examiners.
Provides staff with any and all internal communications regarding workflows/changes.
Recognizes and appropriately routes claims for carved out services according to health plan contracts.
Understands health plan contracts, provider pricing, member eligibility, referral authorization procedures, benefit plans and capitation arrangements and processes claims using this knowledge.
Understands general ledger accounts and posting of claims information to the appropriate accounts.
Generates daily reports, assigns work, maintains weekly on hand reports
Monitors performance and claims processing times to ensure compliance with performance standards.

Utilizes quality improvement activities and audits as necessary, development of new programs and clinical procedures, and collaboration with Division Post Acute Service Units to promote efficiency and customer service and assists Market Managers and Program Directors as necessary. Assist AVP with coordination and management of central authorization program. Assumes additional supervisory/administrative responsibilities as assigned by AVP.
Majority of the responsibilities involves central insurance authorization for the post acute service lines as needed. For the effective and efficient admissions process in the delivery of these services: Continuously evaluates, develops a plan and conducts business with insurance payers for the appropriate approval/authorization for post acute patients to meet the individual needs of medically referred patients in an efficient, productive manner and within the established guidelines for HCA and Nursing Professional Standards for Practice and Code of Ethics. To maintain accurate, current records on all patients according to policy and procedures. Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Centralized Order Entry Pharmacist, you will ensure that medication orders meet standards for patient care. In this role, you will monitor prescriptions, verify that the dosage and type of medication are appropriate for the patients condition, enter the orders into an online database, track and oversee prescriptions, evaluate patient care plans, and provide any necessary recommendations for the patient.
What you will do in this role:
* Reviews and interprets all physician orders received, using the patient profile
* Screens for drug interactions, allergies, order duplications, appropriate diagnosis, renal and liver function prior to order entry
* Monitors for incompatibilities, concentration and rate on intravenous drugs
* Prepares written or oral report at change of shift to communicate incomplete assignments and potential patient safety concerns to monitor in order to ensure continuity of medication therapy.
* Ensures facility procedures are followed when non-formulary drugs, target drugs, restricted drugs and investigational drugs are ordered
* Investigates and reports adverse drug events and medication incidents
* Facilitates dissemination of drug information in a timely manner to achieve high quality, cost effective, positive therapeutic outcomes when consulted
What qualifications you will need:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of pharmacy is required.
* Pharm D is preferred
* 1+ year hospital experience is preferred.
* Meditech experience strongly preferred
* Current pharmacy license in appropriate state required.

Position Overview:
As a Dean - Cincinnati Campus at Galen College of Nursing, you will provide accountable leadership for the academic programs, community and hospital partnerships, and serves as an integral member of the College and Campus management team. This position will also ensure teaching excellence, faculty and student engagement, and student success in accordance with established regulations, accreditation standards, and the mission of Galen College of Nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
* May be designated as nursing program administrator role for regulatory agencies, state boards of nursing, and programmatic accreditors (see addendum).
* Directs, leads, and supervises all academic aspects of the campus.
* Creates and is accountable for the strategic direction and vision for the delivery of quality, responsive curriculum and programs.
* Develops, maintains, and monitors fiscal resources and secures funding to support educational initiatives.
* Provides leadership to ensure that the number of full-time faculty is sufficient to ensure that the student learning outcomes and program outcomes are achieved within budgetary guidelines.
* Ensures the availability of resources required for faculty (full and part-time) to maintain expertise in their areas of responsibility.
* Provides leadership in the development of policies for students, ensuring that they are congruent with the College, publicly accessible, and non-discriminatory.
* Ensures the appropriate application of student policies and the correct implementation of related procedures by program directors, faculty, and staff.
* Provides leadership to ensure that the curriculum is developed by the faculty and regularly reviewed to ensure integrity, rigor, and currency; ensures that accreditation standards and criteria are used as they relate to curriculum.

Position Requirements:
* Education: Graduate Degree in Nursing required; Doctorate Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
* Experience: Five (5) years of progressive, senior-level experience in higher education preferred; demonstrated excellence in teaching and clinical practice experience in nursing required. . Demonstrated success in development of community relationships; experience in planning and budgeting; excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a record of professional involvement as evidenced in CV.
* Special Qualifications: CNE or CNEcl certification preferred.

* Physical/Mental Demands and Work Environment: Position requires critical thinking, reading, planning, preparing, evaluating, and decision making. Job Summary and Qualifications
The Coding Account Resolution Specialist-III (CARS-III) works inpatient coding related alerts/edits, predominately post initial/final coding. The CARS-III performs the alert/edit resolution activities in the applicable systems. The alerts/edits shall be worked according to the established procedures and thresholds, and communicated as appropriate.
What you will do in this role:
* Compiles daily work list from eRequest, CRT and/or other alert/edit systems
* Takes action and resolves alerts/edits daily following established procedures and thresholds
* Enters detailed notes to update eRequest to provide details if the alert/edit cannot be resolved or must be rerouted to another responsible party for research/resolution
* Escalates alert/edit resolution issues as appropriate to minimize final billing delays
* Monitors the aging of accounts held by an alert/edit, prioritizes aged accounts first, and reports to leadership
* Works with team members in billing, revenue integrity and/or the Medicare Service Center to resolve alerts/edits
* Assigns interim DRGs for in-house patients at month end
* Completes MOCK abstracts as necessary (e.g., combining the codes for outpatient and inpatient claims subject to the payment window)
* Assists the Coding Leads and/or Coding Managers in resolving unbilled reason codes (URC)/Hold Reasons
* Communicates coding revisions to the applicable party (e.g., CIS, lead, manager, international log)
* Periodically works with their Manager to review individual work accomplishments, discuss work problems/barriers, discuss progress in mastering tasks and work processes, and discusses individual training needs and career progression
* Adheres to all applicable coding and billing regulations and guidance, including but not limited to, CMS, AHA and HCA policies and guidelines
* As needed, may periodically be asked to perform Coding Integrity Specialist III (CIS-III) duties
* Meets all educational requirements as stated in Company and HSC policy
* Reviews all official data quality standards, coding guidelines, Company policies and procedures and clinical/medical resources to assure coding knowledge and skills remain current

What qualifications you will need:
* B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. preferred
* Minimum of five years in a healthcare related role with experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
* Minimum of 5 years in hospital and/or health system experience
* Previous experience in supply chain, value analysis, purchased services and/or sourcing that includes pharmacy service line knowledge and experience required.
* Minimum of 2 years of consulting experience (relevant industry experience may substitute the consulting requirement)
