$50 - $150 per visit is not eligible for benefits. As a Registered Nurse Field Assessor (FA) you would be completing Long Term Care insurance assessments. These hands-off assessments require you to obtain claimant demographics, physician information, a current medication list, and evaluate the claimant's functional level of independence. The assessment process also involves completing a brief cognitive screening and evaluating the claimant's ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks. The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy and be able to use a point of care web application/system on a laptop or tablet, in real time for documentation purposes. The Infection Preventionist (IP) is responsible for providing infection prevention and control consultation both proactively and in response to outbreaks within the facilities. Infection control is a part of ensuring the safety of residents and to facilitate the goal of achieving and maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each resident. This position will support implementation of patient safety initiatives for COVID-19 and other emerging pathogens by performing onsite infection prevention and control assessments, providing health education to pertinent people, and serving as experts in infection control issues. Shifts Available: 8 or 12 hour shifts. Through the collection and analysis of data, the RN is accountable for performing a comprehensive assessment to establish the baseline health status of residents as well as to create a detailed Plan of Care that includes individual needs and preferences. RNs oversee practical nurses, CNAs and nursing personnel through assessment of their knowledge, skill and capabilities; clarifying expectations and addressing behaviors to ensure the safety of residents and to attain the ultimate goal of achieving and maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each resident. Qualifications: Must have: * Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing. * Current Minnesota Registration as a Registered Nurse. * Current Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care. Preferred: * Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community.
