• Ensures that the community and show units meet the Company's standards for show quality by daily inspecting the marketing corridor and leasing tour, communicating maintenance and upkeep needs to the community's maintenance team members, merchandising and ensuring a physically appealing show unit and/or model and amenities, and preparing the leasing office for daily leasing activities.

Role Overview

Turning and making apartments move-in ready between resident occupancy
Painting/staining (interior and exterior)
HVAC maintenance and repair (EPA certification preferred)
Basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs (e.g., copper pipe sweating, outlets, switches, light fixtures, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers)
Maintaining property grounds and common areas
Performing preventive maintenance
Keeping a clean, organized maintenance shop
Participating in the 24/7 on-call rotation with other team members
What You'll Bring:We're looking for a resourceful, hands-on professional with experience in apartment maintenance. Here's what we need:
1+ years' experience in maintenance
EPA Certification preferred (for HVAC work)
HVAC Certification and CPO Certification are a plus!
Proficiency in drywall repair, painting, and carpentry
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
Water heater experience (both electric and gas)

What You Will Do as a Leasing Consultant
Welcome and assist prospective residents by showcasing our community and leasing apartments
Ensure that model and target apartments are well-maintained and ready for showings
Conduct and report market surveys
Manage leasing documentation, including applications and lease agreements
Promote the community through marketing efforts such as Craigslist and other platforms
Assist with resident retention and engagement programs
What We Are Looking For
Previous leasing experience is a plus but not required; we will train the right candidate
Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Customer service mindset and ability to build relationships with residents
Willingness to complete online training courses
Availability to work two to three Saturdays per month

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Complete work orders efficiently and according to priority
Turn apartments between resident occupancy (Make Ready)
Paint and stain interiors and exteriors as needed
Perform HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs
Maintain property grounds and complete preventative maintenance
Keep maintenance areas clean and organized
Share 24/7 emergency coverage duties with other team members
What You Bring to the Team:
At least 1 year of maintenance experience
HVAC Certification preferred
EPA and CPO Certifications strongly preferred
Experience with drywall, painting, and carpentry
Knowledge of plumbing, including sweating copper pipes
Working knowledge of electrical systems, outlets, switches, and light fixtures
