Required Experience:
* Experience coordinating school programs including staff hiring and supervision.
* Experience collaborating with school staff and community partners.
* Experience working with middle school youth.
Responsibilities:
This position will support after school programming under the Director of Learning Supports.
* Provide direct supervision and support to program staff
* Plan and coordinate daily activities
* Collaborate with Director of Learning Supports, building administration and staff
* Support quality programming each day
* Keep accurate and timely program attendance and other records
* Coordinate with Special Education staff to fulfill student IEP needs

ECFE Model:
* A licensed early childhood teacher and paraprofessional are in each classroom.
* Each classroom is designed to provide learning toys and materials
* Teacher will provide learning activities and experiences that support the Minnesota state standards for children ages birth to 5-years-old.
* Each class has time for parent education and a time for parent/child learning activities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
General Duties
* Has knowledge of and background in the assigned sport
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, parents, community members, and students.
* Responsible for all matters pertaining to the organization and administration of coaching an athletic team.
* Understanding of and agreement with the Bloomington Public School District's Student Activity and Athletic Code and the Coaches/Advisors Handbook.
* Plan, accompany, and supervise the team to and from all events including practices and competitions.
* Ability to independently run drills at practice
* Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times and establish activity penalties for breach of such standards by individual students.
* Enforce all rules of the Minnesota State High School League and Bloomington Public Schools as they pertain to the respective sport.
* Ability to connect and build meaning relationships with players.
