Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-acuity care to critically ill or unstable patients requiring advanced monitoring and life-support interventions.Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic data; respond rapidly to changes in patient condition.Administer medications, including titratable drips, sedation, and emergency drugs, per ICU protocols.Manage ventilators, infusion pumps, central lines, arterial lines, and other critical-care equipment.Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to update and execute patient care plans.Provide education and emotional support to patients and families during complex or high-stress situations.Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Position Summary
The Data Science Initiative (DSI) is seeking qualified applicants for its open research pool. DSI is currently working to develop its undergraduate and graduate programs.
Positions are limited duration, funding contingent appointments that are part time or short term contracts not to exceed one year, with the possibility of renewal up to a total of three years. Renewals will be dependent upon program needs, funding, and performance. Salary will be dependent upon education, experience, and available funding.
Open positions will include research assistants, research associates, research scientists, research professors, or post doctoral scholars.
Research Assistant positions will conduct research under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI). In addition, to further research learning, the research assistant will receive an annual performance evaluation. Research Scientists will use specific technical skill sets to conduct and assist with research under guidance from the PI.
Research Associate positions will conduct research with only general guidance from the PI. In addition, to further research learning, the Research Associate will receive an annual performance evaluation.
Research Professors conduct independent research and may have some instructional responsibilities.
Postdoctoral Research Scholars will conduct research under the direction of a faculty member to acquire research training. In addition, to further career development, the postdoctoral research scholar and PI will create and follow mentoring and individual development plans.
Successful candidates will have the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
