Job Summary
The Montefiore RN maintains standards of the practice for nursing as defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and Nursing's Social Policy Statement. Essential Functions

Systematically assesses the health care of patients/families and responses to care rendered. * Completes 100% of admission assessment within 8 hours. * Completes documentation reflecting interdisciplinary team approach as per policy. * Documentation reflects systematic and continuous collection of data. * Documents teaching/learning needs of patients and families prior to discharge. * Assesses, evaluates and documents patient's response to nursing and interdisciplinary team interventions, including patient/family teaching. * Initiates a teaching and discharge plan for 100% of assigned patients within 24 hours of admission. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Manager to lead and support the Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistant (PAs) team within our comprehensive Cancer Center (Hematology/Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Breast Surgery/Imaging and Adult/Pediatric Infusion Centers). The APP Manager will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, enhancing care delivery, and supporting APP professional development, while maintaining the highest standards of patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct leadership, supervision, and support to Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in Hematology/Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Breast Surgery/Imaging and Infusion services.

Job Summary:

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support our Pediatric Pulmonology and Allergy department. The RN will primarily focus on paperwork and administrative tasks related to ambulatory pediatric pulmonology and allergy patients. The role involves communication with patients through callbacks and triaging tasks.
Responsibilities
Process prior authorizations for medications and schedule peer-to-peer consultations.
Complete school forms and disability/FMLA paperwork.
Draft letters for patients as required.
Triage emails and phone calls from patients.
Obtain lab reports as needed.
Follow up on Durable Medical Equipment (DME) orders.
Review incoming faxes from pharmacies regarding medication requests.
Conduct lung function testing (training will be provided).
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required, preferably with pediatric experience. Experience in pulmonology and/or allergy is a plus, but not mandatory.

Job Summary:
It is the responsibility of the Administrative Supervisor to ensure and maintain adequate and competent levels of patient care in all areas of operation. The Administrative Supervisor collaborates with the Asst. VP of Nursing/Patient Care Services and the VP of Nursing/Patient Care Svc. in facilitating nursing care. This individual assumes responsibility for all administrative activities in the absence of the administrator on premise. The Administrative Supervisor is guided by a broad knowledge of current nursing theory and practice and of principles of management and supervision.
Responsibilities:
* Plans, organizes, and directs nursing services to provide continuity of patient care
* Plans and organizes work to obtain effective use of professional, ancillary and support services and/or equipment to ensure adequate and competent patient care
* Demonstrates critical thinking skills in problem solving
* Interprets policies and procedures to nursing staff
* Provides informal on-the-job training and guidance to all nursing staff to develop and maintain safe nursing practices
* Assumes responsibility for Nursing Department in absence of the Assistant Vice President for Patient Care and the Vice President for Patient Care Services
* Disciplines staff as warranted. Recommends on- going disciplinary actions to Assistant Vice President for Patient Care Services and the appropriate Nurse Manager
* Maintains adequate and safe levels of staffing in emergency situations (e.g., inclement weather) so as not to compromise level of patient care
* Communicates effectively with staff, patients, visitors and peers
* Supervises and assess unit staff in areas assigned
