    The Division of Pulmonary Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY seeks a full-time faculty Sleep Medicine physician for its Pulmonary Sleep Lab. The 4 functional sleep beds, 2 MDs with 5 sleep technicians to that will be expanding to 12 beds staffed with both Pulmonary and Neurology Sleep specialists for a multidisciplinary management of patients with sleep disorders. The Sleep Center itself is accredited by the American Academy for Sleep. The sleep lab is at Westchester Square Hospital. Clinic sessions will either be at MAP or Hutch. There's an NP who sees clinic patients for sleep and asthma. Additional duties based on experience and interest will include the Pulmonary Inpatient consult service, Medical Intensive Care Unit, and Critical Care Consult service. Completion of training in an accredited Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship and a Sleep Medicine Fellowship is required. The successful candidate will have opportunities to participate in teaching at all levels of undergraduate and graduate medical education, including in our own Sleep Medicine Fellowship. Montefiore Medical Center includes three high volume University Teaching Hospitals in an urban setting, with a strong PCCM fellowship, an active Heart Failure group, COPD center, Pulmonary Hypertension Center, Lung Transplant Program, and an Interventional Pulmonary program. Opportunities for research and funding are available including support through the Block Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, funded by the National Institutes of Health. The position includes an academic appointment at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine commensurate with experience and previous position.
