CHAM is a quaternary care, academic children s hospital in New York City, serving the diverse patient population of the Bronx, Westchester County, and the Hudson Valley. Our division is seeking an American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI) Certified or Eligible Allergist/Immunologist to join our faculty. The Division currently includes five full time physicians, four fellows, one nurse practitioner, three nurses, and other support staff to service a very active clinical program with over 6,000 outpatient visits per year at three office settings. We manage the spectrum of allergic and immunologic diseases including but not limited to food allergy, asthma, primary/secondary immunodeficiency, allergic rhinitis, and atopic dermatitis while maintaining academic appointments at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a leader in medical education and a resource for translation or basic science research. The successful candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic clinician, work effectively as part of a team, participate in fellow, resident and medical student education and engage in scholarly activity as well as research.

Maimonides is seeking a Licensed Social Worker to deliver brief, evidence‑based caregiver support services as part of the Caring for Caregivers (C4C) initiative for adults who are 65 years old and older and their identified care partners. This per‑diem role focuses on caregiver identification, outreach and consent, needs and quality tracking screening, goal‑aligned (“What Matters”) action planning, tailored resource linkage with teach‑back, EMR documentation, care‑team communication, and prompt time‑limited follow‑ups.
In this role, you will:
Identify and engage caregivers of adults who are 65 and older through admission/rounds flags and referrals; obtain consent and explain program scope.
Conduct brief structured screens using evidence-based tools (e.g., PHQ‑2/9, GAD‑2/7, brief caregiver‑burden check, health‑literacy and SDOH prompts).
Facilitate a concise “What Matters” conversation to elicit the caregiver's priority needs and preferences; co‑create an action plan focused on1-3 priority areas.
Provide tailored resource packets (education, benefits, respite, mental health, community‑based supports); use teach‑back to ensure understanding and feasibility.
Coordinate with the care team (e.g., primary team, case management, nursing, behavioral health) to align plans and communicate a concise summary note.
Track outputs and outcomes (encounters, screening completion, referrals provided, closed‑loop hand‑offs, caregiver‑reported stress/depressive symptoms when available).
We require:
MSW from an accredited School of Social Work; NYS licensure or permit as applicable.
Minimum 1 year in medical, geriatric, primary care, or community health social work experience with brief screening, goal‑setting, and resource navigation preferred.
Motivational interviewing or equivalent brief counseling; familiarity with evidence-based screening tools (eg, PHQ/GAD screening); knowledge of accessible and relevant caregiver resources (respite, benefits, mental health); EMR proficiency; strong communication and teamwork.
Diligent and effective follow-up; problem‑solving and sound judgment.
Hourly Pay: $45.81 - $64.77 (based on experience). Monday-Friday.

Overview
Under the direct supervision of the Food Service Supervisor, performs a variety of patient food service, cafeteria, and dishroom duties as well as other related tasks.

Join the close-knit Nuclear Medicine team at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Medical Group. Here you will work with dynamic colleagues and a diverse patient population covering Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology. We'll depend on you to handle, prepare, assay, administer and dispose of sensitive radiopharmaceuticals. You'll perform quality control and follow aseptic technique standards to ensure patient and colleague safety. This is a Full- time 37.5hr per week position with varied hours between 8:00AM to 8:30PM with a Monday through Friday and alternate Saturdays schedule. This position is located in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Division Chief of Hematology/Oncology at the Maimonides Cancer Center. This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to shape and advance a growing, multidisciplinary oncology program in a dynamic urban health system. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The EEG Technician performs all types of EEG recordings in various outpatient and inpatient settings including routine EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, continuous video EEGs, electro-cerebral silence EEGs and intracranial EEGs. It includes also EEG monitoring during special procedures such as WADA, cerebral corticography, mapping and others.
Verifies the identity of the patient before test/procedure. Explains the procedure and equipment to patient clearly. Answers inquiries and reassures patient before and during test in order to obtain the patient's cooperation for the best performance of the test. Provides for patient privacy at all times.
Summarizes the patient's neurologic status and clinical history from the chart or
other knowledgeable persons. Explains in detail the recording procedures to the
patient and family members present. Views chart for use of anticonvulsive meds
and consults family or caregiver.
Adapts methods and instrumentation, to make patient feel calm and comfortable
during testing to obtain optional results, the best EEG findings, and an EEG
record free of artifacts.
Measures head appropriately, places electrodes according to the modified 10-20 International system and checks their integrity.
Uses extra electrodes and sensors to record additional physiological parameters as indicated, i.e. for ECG, eye movements, muscle movements, respiration, oxygen saturation, etc.
Knows head dressing and wrapping techniques to secure electrodes and reduce risk of skin breakdown.
Recognizes patient and/or environmental artifacts and takes proper steps to document, eliminate and/or monitor.
Recognizes and identifies electrographic normal, abnormal and variant patterns, which at time demands immediate communication with neurologists and medical staff attending the patient.
Maintains integrity of long-term EEG studies, ensuring that patient electrodes and head wrap are intact, impedance is low and recordings are technically interpretable, patient event button is working, and video and audio are properly recording.
Transfers patients and EEG equipment to different rooms and units as needed.
Checks the skin periodically on patients on video EEG monitoring and acts appropriately to prevent skin breakdown.
Appropriately uses activating procedures such as hyperventilation, photic stimulation and sleep. Documents relevant patient history, events, medications and level of consciousness in the recordings as per departmental guidelines.
Writes all clinical observations during seizures and other patient emergency
situations
Upon completion of test, removes electrodes, gels, residue from scalp and cleans patient's head/hair.
Logs and documents the EEG procedures in Epic and Natus according to departmental and hospital policies.
Maintains the EEG database, clips, prunes, and archives EEG records.
Follows departmental and hospital policies for infection control including hand hygiene, personal protective equipment and protocols for specific precautions and infection diseases.
Keeps EEG room clean and neat at all times. Cleans and disinfects equipment.
Assesses and maintains patient safety precautions during EEG monitoring.
Troubleshoots equipment, performs minor repairs and reports problems to the manager.
Insures electrical safety of equipment and patient at all times.
Takes special care to safeguard protected health information according HIPAA regulations.
Acts as a resource to residents, physicians and other technicians, providing assistance as necessary.
Participates in conferences, technical meetings, and other continuing educational activities
when possible.
Demonstrates a courteous, customer-service oriented manner with patients, visitors and co-workers and contributes to a productive, efficient work environment.
