Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the school or facility, including all cleaning and sanitizing, minor repairs and general maintenance. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.
Typical Responsibilities:
* Cleans assigned areas of the facility, including classrooms, hallways, rest rooms and common areas.
* Vacuums and cleans floors.
* Removes trash.
* Performs general maintenance tasks related to the upkeep and operation of the facility.
* Sees to the general security of the facility during regular shift.
* Maintains outside areas of the facility, including parking lots and grounds, may perform snow removal.
* May assist with student supervision in some situations.
* During summer months perform total cleaning and general maintenance of building; may be assigned to crew for general district projects in maintenance or construction.
* Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
* Observes all district policies and procedures.
* Cleans assigned areas following school activites and events. Would include working some evenings and weekends.
Essential Environmental Demands: Some dirt and dust, some odors and fumes, some hazardous materials, some temperature extremes. All buildings/grounds in District Re-1 are tobacco free.

Position Summary: The District ELD Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the needs of ELL students in their identification, assessment, and English Language proficiency instruction. This position also supports Native American Indigenous students programming in Title VI by providing culturally-responsive academic support and activities for those students. Position Responsibilities:
Serve as a resource for administrative staff and classroom teachers by assisting in the
development of ELD English lesson planning and instruction.
Participate in RTI problem solving and IEP staffing when necessary and appropriate for
students with English proficiency needs in addition to their other needs.
Follow student identification, assessment, placement, monitoring, exiting and parental
notification criteria as determined by the district ELA Plan and ESSA.
Assist the District Assessment Coordinator with the annual ACCESS Proficiency exam
as needed or directed.
Oversee and/or administer the WIDA Screener placement assessment as required
throughout the school year to any new-to-district student and other designated students
whose Home Language Survey indicates a second language influence.
Developed and maintain language student records including assisting with writing of
ELL plans.
Disseminate assessment information to classroom, secretarial, and administrative staff.
Provide Home Language Surveys to schools in the languages needed for parents as
available.
Screen Home Language Surveys to assist in properly identifying students who have or
may have a second language influence.
Assist the building staff and principal as designated by the building principal and the
Director of Curriculum and Instruction with regards to English Language Acquisition and
programing.
Facilitate/attend meetings of the district English Language Acquisition Committee for
annual review of the ELA Plan and its effectiveness as well as making proposed changes
to the plan as a result of increasing its effectiveness.

Homeless Liaison/Coordinator Responsibilities:

Child Welfare Liaison Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with child placement agencies, county departments, the state department, and schools to ensure proper school placement, transfer and enrollment of foster children.
* Work with all parties to ensure a foster child remains in an educational situation that promotes stability.
* Work together with schools to ensure the transfer of education records with in five schooldays and also ensure the receiving school admits these children within five days of receipt of a student's records.
Title VI NA American Indian Student Education Responsibilities:
* Train secretaries and registrars in the registration of American Indian students and the correct completion of the Title VI ED 506 Indian Student Eligibility Certification Form.
* Record and maintain accurate records of American Indian students 506 forms to record in the Title VI grant application and also at the IPP (Indian Policies and Procedures) meeting in the fall and the Public Hearing and PAC (Parent Advisory Committee) meetings in the spring.
* Assist the Director of School Improvement and Grants and the Director of Curriculum and Instruction in the Title VI budget and programing.
* Collect a description of programing aligned to Title VI objectives from each teacher/school who receives funds from the grant at the end of every semester.

Qualifications:

The Head Coach's responsibilities include:

* Adhering to the chain of command, which is the head coach, athletic director and the building principal of the particular coach.

* Offering awards (a certificate, letter or other award as appropriate) to athletes based upon standards agreed to by the coach and the athletic director as formulated prior to the start of the season.
