Maintain working knowledge of all technology used in Discovery Programs and Challenger Learning Center that comply with local, state, and federal guidelines to provide for safe physical and online learning environments. Provide facilitative and administrative support for Montco summer camp programming. Assist in the development of future Discovery Programs. The Title V Connection Coach as part of the Title V team plays a key role in successfully onboarding new students from the point of application and promoting a positive learning experience through their first year, in an effort to meet student retention, success and completion goals of the college. The Connection Coach provides registration assistance, support, advisement and connections to college resources, aimed at motivating and engaging new students in order for them to be successful. These student interactions take place both in person and online, with over 50% of the Student Success Center appointments occurring virtually. Connection Coaches must be comfortable utilizing various technological tools when conducting advising sessions, for case management and providing instructional technology support to students. The Connection Coaches are responsible for student retention and support and will seamlessly transition students to academic and/or career coaches at established milestones. Specific Responsibilities * Develop and implement an annual internal audit program which includes routine tests of a broad cross section of institutional processes and in-depth audits of priority areas. * Provide senior management and the Board of Trustees with written analysis, appraisals, and recommendations summarizing findings of internal audits. * Perform value-added financial, operational, and compliance audits of departments or processes within the College. * Evaluate and test financial transactions and business processes in order to identify opportunities to enhance controls for identified risks and/or to improve operational and financial performance. * Review management of Title IV and specially funded programs to validate financial reporting procedures and compliance with programmatic requirements. * Assist external auditors and program reviewers by facilitating access to institutional records, and interpreting procedures and practices as needed. * Verify enrollment statistics for government reporting and audit purposes. * Review internal control systems for compliance with City, State and Federal government regulations and generally accepted accounting practices. * Monitor and evaluate administrative systems employed by the College for integrity with respect to data reliability, and appropriate data control and security. * Assist in the identification of best practices, internally and externally, to support the continuous improvement of administrative systems and procedures. * Stay current with best auditing practices, regulations, issues and trends through professional development opportunities, training and membership in professional associations. * Stay abreast of issues relating to the College's operations and activities. * Deliver quality customer services to both internal and external constituents in a professional, helpful and courteous manner. * Perform other duties as assigned.
