Requirements:

3 years of related experience.
BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

The Intake Coordinator is responsible for the overall admissions for Jefferson Center's Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). The Intake Coordinator implements an efficient admissions procedure and process with the referral source, parents, and youth. In collaboration with the CSU's Admission staff, the Intake Coordinator will provide support with determining medical necessity by evaluating the client medical records to determine the medical necessity and determining the appropriateness of care. This role is responsible for completing the youth's intake at the time of admissions and may assist with discharging the client once treatment is completed. The Intake Coordinator will interact with both outside agencies and with CSU team members with diplomacy, respect, and professionalism. This position will work on site 4 days a week for 10 hour shifts. One weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) is required. 5 - 8 hour shifts is also an option.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete required intakes for all youth admitting to the CSU within 24hrs of admission, ensuring that the comprehensive assessment is completed in its entirety, in compliance with CDHS and BHA rule.
Responsible for completing the initial treatment plan and creating the safety plan with the client.
Responsible for reaching out to the parent / guardian, further explaining the program and expectations while also obtaining their goals for treatment.
Serve as admissions liaison between all stakeholders to facilitate efficient, professional communication and problem-solving activities.
Accurately enter incoming client information into electronic health record system.
Assemble client's chart and distribute intake information to CSU team members.
Identifies risk factors including lethality for suicidal, homicidal and/or grave disability. As appropriate, complete involuntary mental health holds (27-65) according to Center protocol and assist Supervisor with Involuntary Commitment protocols.
Provides behavioral and diagnostic assessments, to include but limited to PHQ-9, GAD 7, and child trauma screener. Completes initial engagement strategies, treatment and discharge planning, and case management/wrap around services. May assist with determining appropriate referral, as needed to meet client needs and fulfill insurance/payor requirements.
Works constructively with clients to reach agreed upon outcomes, and coordinates care with internal and external providers.
Obtains collateral information from family, and other providers as appropriate.
Understands and will adhere to mandated reporting requirements.
Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings to review consumer treatment and discharge planning when applicable, to include participation in daily rounds.
Will assist with discharge planning as well as assist with the discharging process for the client to include completing the discharge summary, and any required tasks as a part of the discharge process.
Serves as a liaison with community agencies and referral sources with regard to consumer needs.
Maintain professional and ethical behavior at all times.

The Intake Coordinator is responsible for the overall admissions for Jefferson Center's Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). The Intake Coordinator implements an efficient admissions procedure and process with the referral source, parents, and youth. In collaboration with the CSU's Admission staff, the Intake Coordinator will provide support with determining medical necessity by evaluating the client medical records to determine the medical necessity and determining the appropriateness of care. This role is responsible for completing the youth's intake at the time of admissions and may assist with discharging the client once treatment is completed. The Intake Coordinator will interact with both outside agencies and with CSU team members with diplomacy, respect, and professionalism. This position will work on site 4 days a week for 10 hour shifts. One weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) is required. 5 - 8 hour shifts is also an option.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Complete required intakes for all youth admitting to the CSU within 24hrs of admission, ensuring that the comprehensive assessment is completed in its entirety, in compliance with CDHS and BHA rule.
* Responsible for completing the initial treatment plan and creating the safety plan with the client.
* Responsible for reaching out to the parent / guardian, further explaining the program and expectations while also obtaining their goals for treatment.

About the role.

The WIC provides immediate assessment, intervention, disposition, and referral services for individuals of all ages experiencing a self-defined mental health crisis and the CSU serves both voluntary and involuntary clients with a qualifying mental health diagnosis and offers a full range of services including medication evaluation and administration, individual, group, and family therapy, case management, and coordinated discharge planning with referrals to outpatient or higher levels of care. The Clinical Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, clinical staff supervision, and coordination of referrals to both outpatient and higher levels of care, including inpatient and CSU services. This role requires a strong leader with crisis management and supervisory experience, working knowledge of M1 procedures, and a hands-on approach to supporting staff in a fast-paced, team-based environment. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and committed to compassionate, client-centered care.
Schedule. This is a full-time, onsite/in-person position based at our 24/7 Walk-In Crisis Center and will co-lead the Crisis program with responsibilities split between the front half (Sunday-Wednesday) and the back half (Wednesday-Saturday) of the week, utilizing a 4x10 schedule (day shift). This innovative facility will bring together critical programs under one roof-including a 24/7 Detox (Withdrawal Management) Unit, 16-bed inpatient Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), Crisis Walk-In Center (WIC), and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid and alcohol use disorders. To support this expansion, we are introducing a dual Clinical Manager model within our Detox program to ensure strong, consistent leadership for our clients and staff. We are seeking a second Clinical Manager to cover the back half of the week (Wednesday-Saturday) while the current Clinical Manager leads the front half (Sunday-Wednesday), providing seamless 24/7 leadership coverage. Flexible scheduling is available-four 10-hour shifts, or a combination of four 9-hour days plus one 4-hour shift across five days.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Master's or Doctoral degree in a license-eligible field.
Licensure: Current Colorado licensure required: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Psychologist (PhD or PsyD). For Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Jail-Based Behavioral Health teams, a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) or higher is required. Licensure from another state is acceptable if the candidate is in the process of obtaining Colorado licensure and will receive it within six months of hire.
Additional certifications/license required: Must hold a valid license. If licensed as an LAC, no additional certification is needed. If licensed as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist, one of the following is also required: CAT, CAS, or LAC.
Must possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and QMAP certification or obtain one within 30 days of hire.
