    Job Title: Electrical Foreman - Commercial Construction Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Commercial Construction team as an Electrical Foreman for projects in the Charlottesville and surrounding areas. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the install of your assigned electrical project, along with training and teaching apprentices and helpers. Responsibilities: * Supervise personnel completing electrical building projects * Assigning tasks, inspecting electricians' work, monitoring team performance, reading blueprints, making sure quality standards are respected, and handling customer relations * Thorough knowledge in the electrical trade * Cutting, bending, threading and installation of EMT conduit of all sizes * Experience bending offsets, 3 points, 4 points, saddles, kicks, 90's, etc. * Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, submittals, etc. * Assisting in hooking up/terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, and various electrical devices * Experience seeing installs from start to finish * Ability to read and interpret construction/coordination drawings and blueprints * Ability to instruct and teach the above tasks. * Work as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices * Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Journeyman or Master card preferred. * Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop others * Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal * Computer and technology understanding. * Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. * Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments. * Strong attention to detail. * Commitment to safety and following established protocols. Ensure that tools and equipment not being utilized on the project are returned to the shop in a timely fashion for use by other projects. Document all correspondence relative to all project matters with an emphasis placed on avoiding claims and protecting the best interests of Moore's Electrical & Mechanical Construction, Inc. and our clients. Keep the Project Manager and Operation Manager informed of major developments, good and bad, on every project while making constructive suggestions to the Project Manager on improving procedures, productivity, and efficiency. Cooperate fully and assist whenever possible with the efforts of other department members. Perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager and/or Operations Manager. Requirements: 5+ years of industrial electrical experience 2+ years of job site leadership experience Great interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal Exceptional leadership skills; dedication and patience are key Able to read and interpret all job site documentation with no supervision Ensure that installations are done per job documents and drawings Provide a safe job site for you and your team Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Smart sheets.     Job Description Job Summary: The Industrial Electrician position serves as an essential part of successful electrical system installs on our industrial projects. Our Electricians are responsible for ensuring a quality install for our customers and doing so by promoting safety at all times. Responsibilities: Install electrical systems per job specs, drawings, change orders, etc. Make repairs per customer requests Clear and consistent communication with Foreman on job progress Communicate with Foreman any requests outside of job scope Able to read and interpret all job site documentation Ensure that installations are done per job documents and drawings Consistently uphold Moore's and the Customer's safety protocols Complete other tasks as requested by Foreman. Requirements: High school diploma/GED Journeyman card preferred 2+ years of industrial electrical experience Must be able to lift 85+ pounds Able to work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts Able to use hand and power tools Great interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal Must have a valid driver's license PLC install, controls, and troubleshooting experience preferred Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office, Internet, Email preferred but not required We Offer: Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance Coverage begins on the first calendar day of the month following date of hire.
