Commercial HVAC/R Service Apprentice
The HVAC/R Service Apprentice works with a Commercial HVAC/R Technician on a daily basis to assist with service, maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. This is an excellent entry-level position for individuals who want to learn the trade, and eventually become a Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Works with a Commercial HVAC/R Technician on a daily basis.
Perform duties per work order and/or contract under the direct supervision and guidance of a Service Technician. These include, but are not limited to:
Assist with initial service calls to learn HVAC/R troubleshooting skills.
Assist with repair work.
Assist with preventative maintenance calls.
Assist with system replacements and upgrades.
Completes necessary paperwork with company issued laptop/tablet.
Provides clear and consistent communication with customer and CSR/Dispatcher.
Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on company service vehicle.
Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training in HVAC/R preferred.
Prior maintenance, mechanical, or facility service experience is a plus.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 85 pounds.
Usage of hands to handle or control tools and/or equipment.
Ability to work in high locations; able to climb ladders and/or scaffolding.
Ability to work in cramped, awkward, and/or confined spaces; must be able to kneel, bend, crouch, or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to work outdoors and be exposed to various weather conditions.
Must have a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record - no major or frequent traffic violations within the last 3 years.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant / Office Manager ensures the smooth and professional operation of the Habitat MidOhio office while providing high-level administrative and logistical support to the President & CEO, Chief of Staff and Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
