Conduct site walk-throughs to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Provide on-site safety support and coaching to field technicians, including audits and field assessments. Support the development and delivery of safety programs, procedures, training, and emergency response drills in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and NFPA 70E. Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions while partnering with EPC and O&M teams to drive continuous safety improvement. This is a nine-month, full-time, tenure-track position. A full teaching load is four courses per semester. The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be in teaching undergraduate courses in Music. These courses will be applicable to general education and to program such as Arts Entrepreneurship and the Music concentration in Secondary Education. The faculty member will be expected to offer courses in group piano, music theory, and aural skills, in addition to providing piano lessons to undergraduate students. The faculty member will be expected to serve as a collaborative pianist for faculty recitals and other campus events that involve a pianist. The hire will collaborate closely with colleagues in the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, the Delta Music Institute, and the band and choir programs. The faculty member will also be engaged in scholarship, provide service to the school, college, university, and profession, and exhibit collegiality as part of the tenure and promotion requirements. Delta State University is a SACSCOC-accredited public university with an enrollment of approximately 3,500 undergraduate and graduate students. The campus is located in Cleveland, Mississippi, in the center of one of America's most culturally rich and ethnically diverse regions. Review of applications begins immediately.
