Job Description
The Temporary Response Specialist supports all aspects of the management of the assigned project including Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Profitability and Growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participates with senior management in the execution of project scope and plan.
• Work in conjunction with Salvage and Dive Masters to support any environmental need.
• Assume duties within Operations Section in support of overall Incident Command Team (IMT).
• Support and provide leadership to all aspects of environmental response, clean-up and planning for assigned projects.
• Overall responsibility for safety and compliance for specific projects assigned.
• Manages the administration process of the dailies and work with project account for specific assignments.
• Provide support to diving and salvage operations as needed.
• Manages and maintain the performance of assigned teams.
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least five years of direct management experience.
• Must be multi-task oriented and have strong supervisory, time management, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Must have the ability to understand and analyze components of jobs costs, profit and loss.
• Strong communication (both written and verbal), analytical and persuasive skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of clients, employees and management.
• Ability to serve as an outside representative of the company and see business development as a core function.
• Ability to work in a wide range of environments including those involving hazardous conditions and which may require lifting or exerting force exceeding 50 lbs.
• Must have licenses as required by position, in good standing and meet applicable MER and DOT driving requirements to operate company vehicles and equipment (documentation is required).
• Ability to work in excess of regularly scheduled hours when necessary.
• Ability to travel overnight as required by business needs.
• Must participate in continuing education classes and successfully complete occupational safety training courses as required. Minimum training requirements include:
o 29 CFR 1910.120 OSHA 40 Hour Hazwoper and 8 Hour Supervisor Annual Refresher

Reporting to the Safety and Compliance Manager, the Rail Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for driving safety and health management throughout the rail organization through development and reinforcement of “best practice” operating procedures. This position will support Drummac, as directed by the Safety and Compliance Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in administering Drummac's training and development programs to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory safety requirements.
Works closely with Safety, Compliance and Operations management to develop pertinent on-the-job or other “value-added” training appropriate to the needs of each business unit they support.
Works in collaboration with Human Resources and Safety training departments to implement New Hire Orientation.
Assists with the developing, updating and maintaining of the Corporate Health and Safety Manual, as well as other departmental programs and standard operating procedures (SOP).
Creates site-specific Health and Safety Plans per client request or project requirements.
Performs hazard evaluations of jobsites, tasks and chemicals including creating a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and assisting with proper PPE selection.
Reviews and analyzes job-specific worksheets, JHAs, and other paperwork to complete a gap analyses
Performs onsite safety coverage and other project-specific needs requiring safety oversight.
Performs Safety Services project management and client communications.
Conducts site safety inspections to audit conditions and safe work practices at jobsites.
Supports supervisors and managers during incident investigations and root-cause analyses as necessary.
Assists with inspections, maintenance, and familiarization of safety-sensitive equipment, such as atmospheric monitors, SCBAs, fall protection equipment, etc.
Stays current on safety and environmental regulations and researches as needed to assure Drummac's compliance throughout organization.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasionally engages in strenuous physical labor including pushing, pulling, and frequently lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
Occasionally requires grasping, reaching, crawling, stooping, and crouching in confined spaces. Requires traversing and ladder ascent/decent to access different areas of jobsite. Must be able to remain stationary for long periods of time.
Employment is contingent upon a successful pre-hire medical exam.
Wears/uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) up to Level A. This includes respirators, skin, face, hand, and foot protection in a multiple number of combinations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold while wearing various levels of personal protective equipment.
Works in atmospheres and locations with the potential for exposure to various chemical, physical and biological agents, some of which may be hazardous, toxic, or corrosive.
Works in potentially elevated noise levels, confined spaces, including lifting in areas of low clearance.
Working at elevations including working from ladders and scaffolding.
Must be able to work in excess of regularly scheduled hours when necessary; on occasion this will require work during weekends and holidays.
Ability to work in excess of regularly scheduled hours when necessary. This position will require regular work outside of traditional business hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred experience in the construction and/or Rail industry
Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1910, and 1926 standards, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
Strong communication (both written and verbal), analytical and persuasive skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of clients, employees, and management.
Must be multi-task oriented and have strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills and to manage multiple departmental priorities and requirements.

Position Purpose:
Responsible for transporting waste from a Stericycle location or customer location, to another Stericycle transfer location or processing location. All Company assigned vehicles are equipped with camera telematics which include inside and outside cameras. In addition, all vehicles are equipped with ELD (electronic logging device) and GPS (global positioning system).
Key Job Activities:
• Manages assigned routes ensuring that waste is transported in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
• Responsible for picking up and transporting waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
• Follows routing software route schedule.
• Plans daily schedule based on Stericycle or customer needs by reviewing daily paperwork, e.g., manifest, route sheets, previous VCR, etc. provided by Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher.
• Communicates any issues to Transportation Manager/Supervisor and/or Dispatcher for resolution.
• Ensures load is secured and placarded if required prior to operating vehicle on public highway.
• May require loading and securing material or unloading truck at various customer sites.
• Must be able to push/pull light or heavy objects.
• Ensures that assigned paperwork is completed legibly, neatly, accurately, and completely and returned to Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher, at the time of debriefing, for processing.
• Communicates with Stericycle Transportation Manager/Supervisor and/or Dispatcher regarding any change to pickups.
• Driver is expected to provide the highest level of customer service at all times.
• Reports any problems/issues with accounts to the Transportation Manager/Supervisor and/or Dispatcher before the close of business each day.
• Performs a documented pre-trip inspection on vehicles prior to leaving yard to commence route.
• Performs a documented post-trip inspection on vehicles prior to being debriefed for the day.
• Reports any maintenance problems to Transportation Manager/Supervisor and/or Dispatcher for follow-up.
• Ensures all defects have been corrected prior to operating the vehicles again.
• Use of ELD (electronic logging device) and Geotab to log hours per DOT guidelines.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Education: Preferred Education: in High School or Equivalent Experience:
• 1+ Years of Experience driving tractor trailer required. Previous route experience a plus.
• Maintains current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), with an excellent driving record.

An experienced Environmental Remediation Project Engineer ready to support and manage a design team using innovative remedial technologies to address various contaminants in soil, groundwater, industrial wastewater, stormwater, and air. What You Will Be Doing:

Evaluating data from aquifer tests, pilot studies, bench testing, sampling events, and modeling to develop remedial strategies.
Preparing, reviewing, and mentoring others in the development of design basis, technology feasibility analyses and selection, and design plans, specifications, and reports.
Communicating with regulatory personnel and permitting agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations.
Providing project and client management from small dry cleaners/gas stations to complex industrial facilities to major federal facilities.
Preparing proposals, cost estimates, and long-term projections for remediation projects.
Providing technical assistance to teams working across multiple offices throughout the country, problem-solving, mentoring, leading by example, and participating in corporate technical initiatives.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited college in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
7-15 years of relevant experience required.
P.E. required.
Strong knowledge of FDEP, CERCLA, RCRA, and other environmental regulations, legislation, and SOPs.
Hands-on experience with remediation technologies and O&M for soil, groundwater, stormwater, industrial wastewater, and air for a wide range of contaminants.
Experience with remedial system instrumentation and controls, and remote telemetry a plus.
Strong consulting, problem solving and leadership skills.
A valid driver's license.
Ability to travel overnight.
