Responsible for providing comprehensive testing services to all eligible students as well as the community in general. Trains and monitors testing administrators at all locations. Provides testing services to include placement tests, Ability to Benefit, High School Equivalence, Pearson, Praxis, instructor make-up exams, pre-admission exams, standardized tests, and others. This position ensures compliance with all institutional governmental, industry, and regulatory requirements, regulations, reporting, processes, and procedures. Additionally, this role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the integrity of online testing services. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. Two years of experience in a customer or student service-oriented industry, demonstrating strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Strong customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills. Must be able to complete the required vendor training/certification for administering standardized tests within sixty (60) days of hire. Strong public service orientation. Strong technology proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and utilize new software and online platforms. Excellent active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and email etiquette skills. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and Saturday, as necessitated by the position. Ability to travel to administer off-campus tests as needed. This work is carried out by operating and maintaining snow removal equipment such as plow trucks with sanders, front-end loaders, backhoes, and skid steer loaders. This position is a part time, on -call position that works on an "as needed" basis as determined by weather conditions. Job Description: Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * Operates vehicles and equipment such as plow trucks, front-end loader, backhoes and skid steer loaders to remove snow and ice from campus roadways and parking lots * Applies traction/de-icing media to roads and parking lot as needed to ensure safe driving conditions * Works on an on-call, as needed basis and must be available for work 24/7 as required by weather conditions. * Uses hand tools as needed to perform minor repairs such as changing cutting edges on snow plows * Performs pre-shift and post-shift equipment checks to ensure vehicles and equipment are operating correctly. The position coordinates event support services, which include, but are not limited to, planning security logistics, working with internal and external vendors to secure event rentals and other needed materials, and coordinating with Support Logistics staff as needed. This position reports to the Director of Events and is responsible for receiving materials and information related to event software and college policies & procedures. This position will manage high-profile events of significant importance to the college's mission and vision. Event Planning & Production: Coordinate and organize events on the Aims campus, including department or program-sponsored events, educational partnerships, community outreach, and private/corporate functions as approved and assigned. Manage on-site production and vendor needs, assist with day-of-event logistical moves, and attend events as needed. Event Management & Administration: Assist with preparing or following budgets and provide periodic progress reports to staff directors for each event project. Keep track of event finances, including check requests, invoicing, and reporting, in coordination with the Events Staff Associate. Prepare and modify event contracts as requested in coordination with the Events Staff Associate. Serve as backup to event-related software and management. Create and revise room layouts/seating arrangements for each event as necessary in coordination with Support Logistics staff. Organize and manage the invitation, registration, and attendee check-in processes for assigned events. Conduct pre-event, post-event, and walkthrough meetings. Conduct event debriefs with key event stakeholders following each event. Part-time instructors work under the direction of their respective Department Chair, Associate Dean, or Division Dean. Pikes Peak State College maintains a pool of qualified part-time instructors. Part-time instructors will be selected to support departmental requirements. Part-time instructors may be employed to teach courses, conduct presentations or other service activities when current instructors and faculty are not available. Must be a State of Colorado resident or able to relocate to Colorado prior to first date of employment. All work must be performed in the State of Colorado. Minimum Qualifications * Current Certified Dental Assistant Credential (Dental Assisting National Board) * Completed Bachelor's degree or enrolled in a bachelor's degree program that can be completed within 3 years of employment. * Current CPR certification * Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Colorado Career and Technical Education Teaching Credential Preferred Qualifications: * One year post-secondary teaching/tutoring experience Retirement: Pikes Peak State College participates in the Colorado Public Employees' Retirement Association (PERA) contribution rates. Special Note: CTE Programs: Applicants must possess or be eligible to receive the relative Colorado State Career Technical Education Teaching Credential in order to qualify for disciplines within CTE Programs. Information on credentialing requirements can be located online at ************************************************* Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide didactic, laboratory and clinical instruction on a variety of topics such as oral anatomy, dental science, dental charting, dental materials, dental radiography, specialties in dentistry, clinical procedures, dental office equipment operation, business office procedures, ethics and jurisprudence, infection control and safety measures, medical emergencies in the dental office, preventive dentistry, nutrition and expanded functions dental assisting in Colorado. * Participate in advisory committee meetings, dental assisting departmental meetings, divisional meetings, professional development activities, college wide committees, and student enrichment activities. * Develop curriculum and student evaluation instruments to keep courses relevant to current trends in dentistry. * Maintain accurate student grade and attendance records. * Maintain good order and discipline in the classroom/laboratory settings. * Maintain instructional equipment, infection control and safety protocols and supply inventories. * Practice resource conservation by avoiding the wasteful use of supplies, utilities, equipment and other resources. * Instruct and supervise students in the practice of resource conservation. * Utilize communication skills that foster supportive and positive learning environments for students. * Work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment. * Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Demonstrates ability to plan, organize, and deliver appropriate curriculum. * Demonstrates ability to employ qualitative and quantitative analytical skills in the classroom. * Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrates ability to maintain accurate written student records as required by policy and procedure. * Demonstrates ability to inform students of all course requirements. * Demonstrates ability to evaluate students and offer feedback on a continuing basis. * Demonstrates ability to relate to student concerns and maintain open communication. * Demonstrates ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
