Reporting to the Lateral Attorney Recruiting Manager, the Lateral Attorney Recruiting Coordinator will assist with all aspects of lateral non-partner lawyer recruiting and coordinate a wide range of activities supporting the overall planning, management and administration of lateral associate/counsel recruiting. This position can reside in any of the following Morgan Lewis offices: Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Princeton, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, DC. A hybrid in office/remote working schedule is available. General Responsibilities: Lateral Recruiting: Coordinates multiple and various non-partner lateral attorney searches for the full recruiting cycle. Tasks include but are not limited to working with hiring partners and recruiting team to understand needs and priorities, posting jobs, reviewing and circulating candidate materials, scheduling interviews, gathering feedback, facilitating the offer, follow-up, and onboarding process. Posts and maintains job descriptions on LinkedIn and manages the team's LinkedIn Recruiter account. Supports local recruiting teams to onboard lateral candidates. Utilizes recruiting technology (LinkedIn Recruiter and Pirical) to actively source candidates for multiple openings to create a strong candidate pipeline. Works with lateral recruiting team to implement creative strategies and processes for sourcing and identifying candidates. Builds and maintains relationships with external search firms in all US cities where the firm has a presence. Works with firmwide managers to support the greater team with ViRecruit, including the search firm specific portal and anything related to lateral recruiting processes. Other: Attends and participates in annual Professional Recruiting Committee (PRC) meetings and other firm meetings and conferences as needed. Assists as needed with the summer associate program and law student recruiting. Performs various assignments at the request of the attorney recruiting team leadership, hiring partners and practice group leaders. Other duties as assigned. Experience/Qualifications: This job requires: A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, and; A minimum 2 years of related legal recruiting or human resources experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
