Sidley is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Legal Recruiting Specialist to join their collaborative team in New York. This role will support the Senior Legal Recruiting Manager in all aspects of law student recruiting, including the planning and execution of the full-cycle 1L, 2L and 3L hiring processes for the New York office. The Specialist will also provide support to the law school engagement initiatives and Summer Associate Program for the New York office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide support to the Senior Legal Recruiting Manager.
Partner with the Senior Legal Recruiting Manager to plan and coordinate all aspects of 1L, 2L and 3L recruiting for the New York office.
Manage summer associate and entry level job postings, assist in reviewing resumes and overseeing the callback interview process for law school and entry level candidates.
Assist with the preparation for and follow-up from Recruiting Committee meetings.
Oversee follow up efforts for candidates who have received offers.
Serve as a liaison to the New York Recruiting Committee.
Maintain accurate and complete records within the LawCruit database.
Assist with NALP surveys.
Maintain familiarity with hiring processes and law school recruitment timelines.
Serve as a firm ambassador.
Provide support for 1L receptions and programs and law school sponsorship opportunities.
Oversee and execute the administrative onboarding process for Fall Associates.
Provide support to the summer program.
Must be willing to work overtime as requested.
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, professionalism and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Work collaboratively and across the team and other departments of the firm.
