Client Relationship Analysts provide exceptional service to our clients and support Financial Advisor(s) (FAs)/ Private Wealth Advisor(s) (PWAs)/ teams on a daily basis. Through regular interactions with clients, individuals in this role build trusted relationships. Leading with a client first mindset, a successful candidate for this role will have strong interpersonal skills and will be able to assist clients with their everyday needs.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
CLIENT SUPPORT
Provide service coverage for a FA/PWA/team including:
* Supporting the FA/PWA/team in cultivating and enhancing new and existing client relationships
* Executing money movement transactions at the request of the client and/or FA/PWA
* Answering general non-investment related questions concerning client accounts, including relaying stock positions and providing account balances (e.g., funds due and margin debit)
* Enter profile information or pre-fill account documentation on client accounts and/or documents in aa clerical capacity at the direction of the client and/or FA/PWA
* Educating or enrolling clients in digital tools (e.g. MSOnline, eSign, eAuthorization)
* Assist Fas/PWAs/teams in a clerical capacity with research relating to investment portfolio holdings, performance reporting, etc. and preparing materials for client meetings using firm approved systems
* Assist with data entry for key client needs such as new account opening and financial planning at the direction of the Fas/PWAs/teams
* Supporting the Fas / PWAs / teams' marketing strategy (e.g., website maintenance)
* Assist Fas / PWAs/ teams in delivering against their business plan and client service model
* Remaining current on all policies, procedures and new platforms
* Participating in firm initiatives (e.g., training or education programs), special projects and/or other duties directed by local management
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:
* Answering inbound phone calls or making outbound calls (e.g., scheduling follow-up calls with Fas/PWAs/teams as needed)
* Managing the calendar including coordinating meetings or events with logistics such as material prep (e.g., maintaining agendas, sending calendar invites with Zoom credentials)
* Maintaining travel itineraries, preparing expense reports and managing the reimbursement process
* Assisting with general in-office support functions such as copying, filing and scanning documentation
* Preparing and submitting expense reports for processing at the direction of the FA/PWA
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, and SKILLS:
Education and/or Experience
* High School Diploma/Equivalency
* College degree preferred
* Industry experience is a plus
* Willingness to obtain Series 7 (GS), and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA)
Knowledge/Skills

Reports to:

Salary range for the position: $33,280 - $90,000 / Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. Position Summary
Assist the Bank Secrecy Act (“BSA”) Officer in maintaining Carver's BSA, Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”) compliance program.
Duties and Responsibilities
Review alerts generated by the monitoring system concerning customer transactions for unusual or suspicious activity and, when needed, prepare SAR drafts for approval and filing.
Perform OFAC alerts review that are generated by the internal system; conduct 314(a) searches in compliance with the Information Sharing requirements of the USA PATRIOT Act.
Periodically scan Carver's customer database against the OFAC list by using Fiserv - Navigator.
Review and investigate referrals received by the Bank departments.
Support Carver branch network by guiding potential OFAC “hits.”
Support branch function with regards to the review of the monetary instrument log.
Review and prepare Currency Transaction Reports (“CTRs”).
Conduct periodic reviews of high‑risk accounts and customers (EDD reviews).
Assist the BSA/AML Officer for daily operations.
Present or assist in presenting BSA and OFAC training materials to other Bank employees, such as New Hire Orientation.
Prepare specialized reports using Microsoft Excel and the BSA Department Software, known as Fiserv‑Navigator.
To successfully perform this function, the BSA Analyst must
Be familiar with “Red Flags” for identifying unusual or suspicious activity. Ongoing training is provided to ensure updated knowledge of money laundering and terrorist financing typologies.
Utilize internal and external resources to research the customer and account action under review to arrive at a preliminary determination on the nature of the activity. Internal resources include Carver's databases, such as our check imaging system, and external resources including internet searches such as Google.
Be able to interact with management with ease.
Be comfortable at giving presentations.
Have knowledge of banking such as KYC for consumer and business banking customers.
Maintain knowledge of new laws and regulations related to BSA/AML, and OFAC promulgated by the Federal Authorities.

GENERAL SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support Business Units reporting needs by gathering and analyzing data using Business Intelligence (BIC) for the purpose of identifying solutions for strategic business needs and/or operational requirements.
Design and develop reports using Business Intelligence (BIC) to support the operations department in meeting operational and strategic reporting requirements.
Maintain a library of model reports for various types of recurring or repetitive information gathering.
Validate the integrity of reporting models and make changes as required.
Compile data and prepare regularly scheduled or special management report requests.
Assist with all aspects of systems related requests, including system testing and documentation.
