The Registered Nurse (RN) in Home Health provides and directs provisions of nursing care to patients in their homes as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and agency policies. Coordinates total plan of care with other health care professionals involved in care and helps to achieve and maintain continuity of patient care by planning and exchanging information with physician, agency personnel, patient, family, and community resources. All done within a Point of Care setting. Makes the initial and/or comprehensive nursing evaluation visit, determines primary focus of care, develops the plan of care within state specific guidelines, and submits accurate, complete, and timely documentation in collaboration with physician orders. Performs patient comprehensive assessments at designated time points and develops the appropriate plan of care. Ensures patients meet home health eligibility and medical necessity guidelines as defined by payer source. License Requirements Current RN licensure in state of practice Current CPR certification Current Drivers License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation Additional State Requirements LA: At a minimum, one year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse. One year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse may be waived for a Registered Nurse with recent clinical experience as an LPN. RN licensure must have no restrictions.

Provides general nursing care to patients in a clinic or medical office. Administers medication, prepares equipment and aids physicians in treatment of patients. RN license required. Responsibilities: Participates as primary nurse, associate nurse, a team member or team leader in the planning and implementing of patient care. Directs and assists in carrying out safe aseptic technique and procedures. Offers leadership and direction to all support staff within department. Requirements: Associate's Degree in Nursing RN License in state of employment or compact BLS Work Schedule: 5 Days - 8 Hours Work Type: Full Time

Responsibilities MedSurg RNs provide bedside care for a variety of patients and execute individualized patient assessments to create an individualized plan of care. MedSurg RNs prepare equipment and assist physicians during examination and treatment of patients. MedSurg RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: MedSurg RNs prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications Initiate alternative action when adverse symptomology is displayed Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs when necessary Shift: 3x12 Nights

Under the supervision and/or direction of the Registered Nurse, the Nurse Extern I performs various direct patient care activities in accordance with the Nursing Department policies and procedures. The Nurse Extern I is able to assist with the care of hospitalized patients. The Nurse Extern I may be assigned other functions in accordance with hospital/department policies, procedures, and protocols. Requirements: Currently enrolled in an RN accredited school of professional nursing to obtain either an associate degree or a bachelor's degree as an RN. Must have completed their first clinical and be in good standing in the nursing program. Proficient in basic nursing tasks. Six (6) months of experience in a hospital preferred but not required. AHA BLS required within two (2) weeks of employment. Work Schedule: PRN Work Type: Per Diem As Needed

Responsibilities Progressive Care Unit RNs (PCU RNs) care for patients who need close monitoring and frequent assessment but aren't unstable enough to require ICU care. PCU RNs use computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information. PCU RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Record patient's medical information and vital signs Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patient Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients and interpret electronic displays to help guide treatment Shift: 3x12 Days
