What you will do:
Work in our Irvine office alongside peers 3 days per week while working remotely and in the field up to 2 days per week with Agency provided technology and hardware
Tenaciously solicit new business with drive and initiative through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead sources
Work closely with your mentors and manager to gain a deep understanding of Employee Benefits products as well as industry knowledge, laws/regulations and best practices
Successfully manage the full sales cycle including:
Lead generation
Prospecting/Outreach

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Employee Benefits market
Understand laws and regulations associated with Employee Benefits administration including Affordable Care Act

Continually learn and proactively respond within a constantly changing market
Your Qualifications:
4 year college degree or relevant work experience in client-facing role
3-5 years of Outside Sales/Cold Calling experience
Knowledge of basic insurance concepts and willingness to undergo comprehensive training in benefits products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Core Platform @ Pave
The Core Platform team sits at the center of Pave Engineering, bridging product and platform engineering. We build the foundational services, APIs, and abstractions that enable every team to ship enterprise‑grade software with speed and confidence. In this role, you'll own critical services like user authentication and authorization, as well as the foundational data infrastructure and models powering Pave's compensation intelligence platform. Success in this role requires strong systems thinking and the ability to drive large, complex initiatives across the organization.
What You'll Bring
5+ years of backend engineering experience building data intensive applications, ideally utilizing modern web technologies such as TypeScript and Node.js
Strong product intuition with the ability to design generalized platform solutions that solve cross‑product challenges
Hands‑on experience with data infrastructure, data pipelines/ ETLs, data modeling; ML/AI platform experience a plus
Experience leading large technical projects with high ambiguity and numerous stakeholders
Execution‑driven mindset: You thrive in fast‑paced environments, bias toward action, and ship thoughtful solutions with maintainability and scalability in mind

The 12-week summer internship program aims to develop one's business acumen, communication, and leadership skills through real world experience. This is a paid internship that provides additional learning opportunities for students to learn from and network with executive leadership and fellow interns in a range of departments. This individual will be expected to work 40 hours per week, with four days spent in an office setting and one day remote. The Underwriting Intern will gain valuable experience in one of our insurance underwriting teams comprised of commercial, personal, environmental, or professional lines teams.
Responsibilities
Underwriting and cross selling across the department renewal portfolio and new business submissions
Participate in agent marketing calls
Engage in insurance policy renewals
Update new business and renewals in Microsoft Excel
Determine which program or market best meets the needs of agency clients
Communicating loss notices and policy changes
Work alongside senior leaders on special projects and attend client meetings
Qualifications
Enrolled as an undergraduate at an accredited university, actively pursuing a degree in Risk Management and Insurance (strongly preferred), Business, Finance, or another relevant field
Expected graduation in December 2026 or May 2027
Previous internship experience is preferred
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

About the Role:
The Risk Advisor Development Manager will play an integral role in training & developing new and unvalidated Risk Advisors at Morris & Garritano! What you will do:

Supervise Risk Advisors on their journey to validation

Your Qualifications:
CA Property & Casualty license
5-7 years of Commercial Lines experience in an independent agency (e.g., Account Executive, Marketing Analyst, Sr. Account Manager, Underwriter, or related role)
Strong understanding of carrier markets, appetite, and placement strategies
Experience mentoring, coaching, or training others in a professional setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Applied Epic, Salesforce and/or other Agency Management Systems
